This place is not closed. about right campers here including horse campers too. Nice spot. Just outside Chama which is a nice little town.

A safe place to park. There are other trailers and trucks that park here. Got some uninterrupted sleep through the whole night. Worth the stop.

Great little spot off the road. We were able to pull in the back away from the entrance and right on the river. Has a bit of road noice but a great place if you want to be out of the way from interstate!

This area has some great dispersed campsites. I camped off of Road 703, But there are sites along some of the side roads too. There is fantastic cell service with Verizon. Only downside is it can get pretty windy here, it’s pretty exposed.

Really nice. Quiet. Lots of shade trees. Great for tenting, but van camping is pretty sweet too. Keep two wheels on the road, and open the doors onto the grass. Picnic tables. Fire rings. Pit toilets are just fine. AllTrails reviews of the trail to the lake discouraged us. As well as a few people returning that were unable to make it the lake.

best rest stop ever....for me anyway....has everything I could ask for....a running/biking trail....an individual "family" bathroom to really clean up in....and a filtered water station to fill my bottles (tastes great!).....thanks Minnesota!!

Nice quiet lakeside site. Gravel road in good condition.

Parking of an art and recreational center.

Stayed one night. No troubles. We stayed at the back corner near the Salvos Thrift store. A few people walking past on the thrift store side and someone was digging through their bin in the early evening.
Workers are parked in the Costco parking in the evening as well.

Free lakeside camping. Lots of spaces! 14-day limit. Pretty but sparsely treed.

nice place. locals pass from time to time. the entry to the place is either with a lot of holes in the diet road or a short 45 degree steep part where you have drive down and up again. good shadows. good for swim.

There is some construction at the service station but you can still access the dump.
Flush water and Drinking water available. Free!

OHV staging area trailhead. Pit toilet, Verizon service. Large parking area, will accommodate big rigs, no no-parking signs, also lots of room out on the gravel road as well.

Great little campsite with available tent sites. The tent area lacks shades. Just one or two trees. Clean bathrooms with running water and hot showers. $12.75/night for tent sites with no amenities. Full cell connection with T-Mobile. The owner is very nice.

Beautiful national park... Hydro and 50 amp... Sewer dump on way out fabulous trails... Nice little town..

Amazing peaceful place, couldn't make it right to the river in our 23ft RV, stopped at the site right before, about 200 yards away.

Excellent spot not too far from the south entrance to Yellowstone (20mins drive). Very pretty, on top of the river.
The place says 4 spots only, but there were many more people here. And the ranger said it was alright. They may transform it into an organized campground but for now it's free.
Nice attached toilet pit as well.
Very close to some hot springs.
Also, the nearby lodge has a really nice restaurant for good affordable breakfast.
No signal whatsoever (though you can get wifi at the nearby lodge).

Maintained provincial campsite the park ranger is very firm in no party or causing a ruckus so behave. Nice spot and it’s a first come first served spot so don’t send 3 people to try and grab 3 spots
