Spectacular place. I was worried about coming here after reading some of the comments. The drive in from Pensacola Beach was as if you were on another planet. There is nothing but flat beautiful beaches and tons of sand. I loved everything about the campsites and no they are not too close together. The campsites were super quiet. The only complaint I have is - why do campers have outside lights on? You can’t see the stars. Rude!!

Laboratory with possibility for Covid PCR test. They give a nice certificate. Results after 12 hours. UGX 270.000 per test. In the Referral Hospital they don’t do tests for travellers. They referred me to this place

Slept in front of the hostel in our van. Looks like with a new name comes new ownership, since the owner said he'd never done this before!

Agreed on $3US/night for two in a van with access to the pool, wifi, and bathrooms, but no showers. Apparently those are in the rooms, so we can't reach them. (EDIT: The next morning, as we stocked up on snacks just before leaving the owner offered us showers after the occupants of the room checked out, but we declined as we had to leave)
He was hesitant to let us stay directly in front of the hostel (where the WiFi will reach the van) as he uses the spaces, but relented when I said we'd be there only one or two nights.

He speaks pretty good English.

Fairly quiet night traffic-wise, but I believe there's a curfew in place right now, so there were men biking the city overnight patrolling with loud horns they'd blare periodically. Reasons aside, we occasionally (2-3 times) had a man bike past with a horn that would scream very loudly.

Lugar muito tranquilo e iluminado, passamos uma noite super silenciosa. Apenas o sino toca nas horas cheias! Tem banheiros que ficam abertos à noite toda, ponto de água.

We have been here for 4 nights with our Camper, 2 adults and 4 children. We‘ve payed 24€/night. We’ve enjoyed the time so much. Hot showers in really clean bathrooms and washing machines with water up to 60 degrees and a dryer as well. Only less steps to the beach - just great for the kids. It’s open all the year. Very kind staff.
To the beautiful town it’s only 10 minutes by car. There you can find store for camping and much more.

We accidentally parked next door to the coordinates and it was a win! Large empty lot with trees and water view. Full Verizon signal. Very little traffic noise aside from an ambulance and helicopter. Grass to walk your dog. No signs. No one bothered us. Stayed one night. Note: walked over to the actual RV lot spot and 18 wheelers were running their engines all night. This is a quieter alternative.

Quiet street parking on Costa Brava road. Spent two nights here undisturbed in a 24ft Mercedes Sprinter. It's also a block or two away from the beach, and near a downtown portion of the city. Felt safe. As you get closer to the beach the road gets more and more narrow, we aired on parking closer to the town's main road.

Hostel with private rooms (EGP100) and dorms (EGP80-90) run by David who speaks fluent English. Very accommodating to cyclists and will store bicycles securely. David can help out with local knowledge including arrangements to get across the Sudan border. Food, shops, pharmacy and ATM nearby.

We stayed here but things are not in good shape. Boys from the village try to let you in take the money and run away. So if you stay here ask for Jonathan and only pay to him. Very noisy place. Will be same for all sites around here. We could hardly sleep. We regret to go here.

Free parking in the weekend in downtown Vancouver. During the week free from 6PM-8AM. Pretty quiet at night. Close to the waterfront and farmer's market (Saturdays). Stayed two nights without issues.

We didn’t feel comfortable here. Some traffic on this road not from campers. Several people asked if we were ok as if you wouldn’t want to camp here. We did not stay the night

Stayed two nights here. Great spot easy to get to and quite at night. 1-2 bars of 5g AT&T. I recommend to go chill at the dog park and you can park in the shade during the day so it’s not so hot. Some litter and people do come up here to shoot guns but I felt very safe and solitude.

Easy place to fill up and loved walking on the path with the dog.

My expandable hose worked out just fine when I parked in the handicap spot. The water spigot is right behind the drinking fountains.

Dead end in the city near the airport. There's some road noise and airplane noise but we slept through it. Good for an overnight. We stayed Saturday night. No one bothered us or even came by.

This place is not quiet; there is a bar playing music into the early hours of the morning. I reported a problem with the shower; its one of those electrical heads. When I switched it on, the wires glowed and after a couple of minutes, the wires burnt through. The receptionist initially said she would switch me to another room. This didn't happen. When questioned about the switch later, she lied to me to say it will happen, she is waiting for the owner to decide. Yet later, she was on a private phone call and kept ignoring me for over 20 minutes. Very unhelpful and rude. There are other places to stay in this city.

Huge campground with all the commodities that you could imagine. It cost us 13€ for the van, two adults, electricity and wifi. There is a discount if you plan to stay for more than 30 days. There is also a bus stop near so you can take the local commute to go the Albufeira downtown or at the beach.

Agree with the rest, no signs, but they're there and will sell you water, use the picture and you'll find it for sure!

They wouldn't fill my garrafon for me, I had to buy a 5 gallon jug, fill my garrafon from it at the sidewalk, then give the jug back.
It cost 65c

have stayed here a few times on the weekend. for the most part it has been super quiet with the same trucks and cars always here. coffee shop is a 7 min walk away for the bathroom in the morning.
The only time we had a problem was this morning when someone attempted to steal our gas can (which is securely locked up anyway). he ran away very fast when yelled at.

Love this spot, tall scattered pines with views in between. Quiet. Coyotes singing at dusk. Flat, large enough for 10 cars. Good cell service. Plenty of hiking. Just Beautiful. Dirt road in, no issues.
