hayley.wieduwilt | This place is decent for an overnight stay, but anything more than that is a bit of a waste. There is trash everywhere and the lake is the equivalent of a small pond. We did feel safe in the campground but the area around is pretty run down. Three bars of service with Verizon. We chose not to stay. |

hourlesslife.com | Very quick overnight. Lots of amenities, including a pool, poolside bar, eatery, another bar, lots of seating, large grassy area, stage, and trampoline. It was the most confining camping area we’ve experienced since the U.S., with rigs parked very close together. I’m guessing it was busier at the beginning of Semana Santa? The campground is about a 20-minute walk to the city center and it’s a lovely walk. At the campground, a DJ played loud music until late. In the morning, an exuberant peacock helped us greet the day, early. If your goal is to meet other travelers, this is a top place to be. For us, I think we’d prefer a little more peace and space. 110 Q for two adults/one child. |

brookebeyond.com | After reading all the reviews, we decided to visit this side of El Chiflon, which gets a bit closer to Velo de Novia than the opposite side. Wow!! The most impressive series of waterfalls I’ve EVER seen, with impossibly blue water & so many places to explore. Make sure to continue hiking past Velo de Novia to see the final 2 falls— only about 10% of people continued on this steep trail, so it was really quiet at the top & the views were AMAZING!! Arrived at 5.30pm & paid for the entry bracelets (50p/person), then drove a short distance to the lower parking lot & easily found a flat, comfortable spot to camp in our van. It’s a quick walk up to the main carpark from here, which is where you can pay for camping (35p/person) & get a little receipt to show the security guard. We checked out the river that evening (they will let you use the bracelet for both days if you’re camping; site closes 6/6.30pm) and then went in for a proper explore around 8am the following morning. Definitely allow at least 6hrs, there’s so much to see and do here!! |

krmerckel | Wow! Busiest Cracker Barrel lot I have ever seen. Probably 10-12 RVs, 3-4 vans, and 4-5 semis with some car campers mixed in. Someone still running their generator at 10 pm. Not too much noise from highway. Five miles from cute Ocala historic downtown. |

follow_nadle | We took this hard sand road at day time and getting save to Cabo de la Vela. It was a strenuous and long drive. They were kids (a few with robes) asking for money and goats/sheeps on the road but we never stopped. We doesn't saw a faked accident or somthing else. In Cabo de la Vela are a lot of locals and tourist, specially kite surfer during there season. |

follow_nadle | That is the "better" rough road to Cabo de la Vela. Hard sand road with many potholes, high clearance is an advantage. 4x4 is not necessary. It's a strenuous challenge. |

Wolf | They changed the business model. No individual campers are accepted any more. They just offer their "Glamping" in martial like spheres against previous reservation. The view over the region, over "El parque nacional de estoraques" and the really lovely and well maintained village translated "The beach of Bethlehem" is still breathtaking. One of the most beautiful villages I have seen in Colombia. Besides, eat in "El Portal". |

Rodger Obley | Just a parking lot in the East End of Pittsburgh. Meters enforced 8am-10pm. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Will need to be stealthy though.
Very close to Carnegie library. No wifi in parking lot, but ample cell service. |

Wolf | The owner of the ex football field parking lot at the entrance of the 'National park de los estoraques" is called Campo Elias. He really wants to offer a nice campground and is very open to new ideas for improvement. We talked to to him or to Alvaro, the administrator. There is a legal dispute going on between the bureaucratic national administration of national parks and the "open to business and good service" private owner family of parts of the area. So don't wonder about a lot of contradictions about the access to the park and the fees they are charging. As there is no official price list, just bargain if you think it might be too expensive. We paid 20,000 COP the night with electricity connection and water access for the car and caravan. There is a electricity connection at the shop and an water supply. There is also a toilet without shower you can use. The workers left at 6PM and we were alone all night. We felt safe anyway in this astonishing surroundings. |

Quiet gravel lot close to the hotel. No sign showing no parking allowed at night. Construction traffic heavy during the day but very quiet at night. |

kelseymiverson | There are a lot of places nearby that are 2 hour parking, but there are 2 spots that are unmarked in front of Canyon Center 750 building. I parked here for over 24 hours and was never bothered. Super safe feeling, 3 minutes walking to all the best downtown boulder restaurants and coffee shops(Trident coffee is amazing space for fast internet and room to spread out). Cheers! |

outintonowhere | Open and ready for business. Apparently, I was the fifth overlander post pandemic. Miriam and her family are excellent hosts and the location is primo. If you don’t want to park on the street and prefer amenities in the city for a small fee of $5pp then staying here is a no brainer. Presumably, when the rest of ya post-pandemic overlanders get down here this place will be booked up. |
