follow_nadle | That is the "better" rough road to Cabo de la Vela. Hard sand road with many potholes, high clearance is an advantage. 4x4 is not necessary. It's a strenuous challenge. |

follow_nadle | We stayed for one night in a privat room and paid 60'000 p.P incl. breakfast (high season). The room was clean and nice. The food was delicious and a littlebit expensive. The owner is friendly. |

Wolf | They changed the business model. No individual campers are accepted any more. They just offer their "Glamping" in martial like spheres against previous reservation. The view over the region, over "El parque nacional de estoraques" and the really lovely and well maintained village translated "The beach of Bethlehem" is still breathtaking. One of the most beautiful villages I have seen in Colombia. Besides, eat in "El Portal". |

Rodger Obley | Just a parking lot in the East End of Pittsburgh. Meters enforced 8am-10pm. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Will need to be stealthy though.
Very close to Carnegie library. No wifi in parking lot, but ample cell service. |

Wolf | The owner of the ex football field parking lot at the entrance of the 'National park de los estoraques" is called Campo Elias. He really wants to offer a nice campground and is very open to new ideas for improvement. We talked to to him or to Alvaro, the administrator. There is a legal dispute going on between the bureaucratic national administration of national parks and the "open to business and good service" private owner family of parts of the area. So don't wonder about a lot of contradictions about the access to the park and the fees they are charging. As there is no official price list, just bargain if you think it might be too expensive. We paid 20,000 COP the night with electricity connection and water access for the car and caravan. There is a electricity connection at the shop and an water supply. There is also a toilet without shower you can use. The workers left at 6PM and we were alone all night. We felt safe anyway in this astonishing surroundings. |

Quiet gravel lot close to the hotel. No sign showing no parking allowed at night. Construction traffic heavy during the day but very quiet at night. |

kelseymiverson | There are a lot of places nearby that are 2 hour parking, but there are 2 spots that are unmarked in front of Canyon Center 750 building. I parked here for over 24 hours and was never bothered. Super safe feeling, 3 minutes walking to all the best downtown boulder restaurants and coffee shops(Trident coffee is amazing space for fast internet and room to spread out). Cheers! |

outintonowhere | Open and ready for business. Apparently, I was the fifth overlander post pandemic. Miriam and her family are excellent hosts and the location is primo. If you don’t want to park on the street and prefer amenities in the city for a small fee of $5pp then staying here is a no brainer. Presumably, when the rest of ya post-pandemic overlanders get down here this place will be booked up. |

thehilltopadventures.com | Mozambique embassy for visas. You need to wear trousers and covered toes. No shorts or flip flops. 30 day single entry visa is Mk 60,000. You need to fill out the form here( don’t use the one on the internet because they won’t accept it despite it being exactly the same), 2 passport photos ( must be pure white background) letter of invitation and 3 months bank statements. You submit your visa application which takes about a week to be approved. Then come back to the embassy, hand them your passports and they will give you bank details which you take to Standard Bank nearby. Standard Bank give you a deposit slip, which you return to the embassy, then wait for 4 or 5 hours for your passports to be returned. |

susan_gosnell | Big spaces on the sandy beach, bit of road noise, but less atv noise than other RV parks in area (playa Norte and Martins). Owner/caretakers dogs a bit noisy and tried to pick fights with our dogs, but they are all noise and will go if you pick up some sand! Bathrooms are good. Busy on Semana Santa, but fun to see and quiet at night. Playa Norte is nicer in my opinion, other than atv traffic. |

tony-ontheroad | Ecuador side took 2 hours because problem with the system, but very easy and friendly. Peru side. You need a corona vaccin +booster shot. All very fast and easy. TIP took only 15 min and was free. No insurance here. They checked the vaccines for the dog in his passport very briefly, no need for additional papers. |
