follow-your-nose.ch | We stayed there for two nights and we could park the camper directly at the lake. It‘s a nice and quiet place. We also ate fish in the restaurant, which was quite good. It’s possible to use the toilets of the restaurant. Shower we didn’t try, so can’t tell anything about it. We could also fill up the watertank there. The owner doesn‘t speak any English. But he’ll be happy to welcome you at his place. Let‘s support the local business in this harsh region :-). |

The Lost Leopards | Nice little park but expensive ($50 a night) when you consider the recreation pass (which everyone must purchase) has gone up to $20 for the calendar year. We camped at the On-Beach full hookups site next to the rental cabins. Decent (but not great) bathrooms and small rv lots. Each has a picnic table and a fire ring. The view of the ocean is unspoiled and is classic Pacific Northwest views, with seastacks, rocky shoals and pine trees all the way to the beach and cliffs. If we were Washington residents or had spent more time to explore the Makah & Cape Flattery area, we would visit this place again. But the $20 recreation pass on top of the $50 RV site fee was cost prohibitive. |

No problem. Wi-Fi open 24/7 and works perfectly from the parking lot. Speed 9/6mbps. Just be aware the train passes by frequently loudly. At night it rang at 4am and 6am |

transformative2020 | Conveniently located campground tucked along a river in the foothills of Sequoia National Park; it's the first camp when leaving/entering through Three Rivers. Spaces are close to one other, but people are respectful and it was quiet. Online reservations required when we were there the Wednesday night before Memorial Day weekend; we found availability a few days before. $22/night. Bear lockers provided but we didn't see any activity in the area. Surprised the toilets flush! |

hourlesslife.com | Fun change of pace. Field to camp in with some shade for smaller rigs on the edges. We were given access to the pool, with the understanding that the hotel is adult-only and our five-year-old needed to be quiet. Fortunately, we had the pool to ourselves. Not sure we could’ve survived without the pool. It was very, very hot during the day. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant (gin tonic) and another at the brewery. My only issue is the location of the bathroom, which is clear on the other side of the property from the camping and requires threading behind buildings. I didn’t and wouldn’t go over there at night. I guess there are showers there, but we didn’t use them. There is a water spigot near the hotel entrance with really high water pressure. Multiple people said it is potable water. We did buy breakfast, which we ate at the hotel, as a thank you for letting us use the pool. Everyone was kind and hospitable. |

nashredmond9 | A quiet, middle of nowhere camp spot with a fire ring, cows and maybe dirt bikes in the distance. Near a highway so some noise but you can drive out further. The gate isn’t locked. Just open it and drive through. Close it behind you. Lots of cow poop watch out. No phone service here |

Instagram: @savannatales | It's worth it only if you can camp on the lawn by the beach. The parking lot isn't nice at all! The good thing is they cut one of the roof bars so we could pass with our car to reach the beachfront! But if you have a very high car you might still not pass through (look at the photo to have an idea). The place is very simple but the sandy beach is worthy it. Toilets and showers are quite rundown and if you want hot water you'll have to bucket shower. We prefered bathing in the lake. 😅 Also note that you must cross a school to reach the guesthouse and it was noisy sometimes. If you're not too picky you'll enjoy the place a lot. We paid 10,000 for 2 people with a rooftop tent per night. Great MTN and Airtel mobile internet. |
