Parkplatz für RVs. Nicht sehr gerade, aber der Blick auf den Gletscher entschädigt für alles. Mai 2022 kaum RVs am Platz (16,75 CND/Nacht, Self-Registration). Plätze direkt an der Straße haben den besten Blick auf den Gletscher. Die Straße ist kaum befahren. Pit Toilets sind sehr sauber. Columbia Icefield Center ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Dort gibt es Starbucks, ein Restaurant, Toiletten und Wlan. Direkt gegenüber vom Parkplatz gibt es zwei Wanderwege zum Gletscher.

absolutely beautiful! no service (at&t) and you can hear the train opposite the creek. very light traffic on the road near by after 9. nicely hidden away from prying eyes. road to get in is just opposite of the devils camping sign.

I wasn't able to find this place.

Nice option before or after crossing the Zambia to Malawi border. Clean rooms we paid 15000 khwasha for the night for a family room. Nice dinner at 1500 khwashas. Nice and friendly staff. Very close to the village so easy to walk there without taking the car.

Open as pay campground ($12). Nice, clean, quiet. Large and numerous rattlesnakes.

Large woodsy parking lot in roadside pull off. Nice and dark. Noise from the road isn’t bad.

Plenty of private-ish space on the far side, next to the river. Nice green space and some lovely trees. Bathrooms available at market basket. We stayed one night and there was one other rig too. Very loud in a Saturday night

Besides a perfect campsite Sandra & Marti also offer covered storage for vehicles. You can leave your vehicle in Armenia for a year.

Flat site for tent. Flat area with shade and views, plenty of space for camping, access only for bicycles or motorcycles

Camping at a beautiful lake retreat.

Camping is available at an Airbnb in Katosi, Beautiful lakeside cottage. Camping at a lakeside peninsula with great views of Lake victoria. Both beautiful sunrise and sunsets can be seen from the campsite over the lake and it has its own private beach. A good place for full moon weekend. Great place to just chill after Kampala or the journey from Jinja. You have to be self sufficient but can use the cottage ablutions with solar hot water. Fresh fish can be ordered on request or local meals can be organised. Great place to watch the birds or walk into the local villages.

Small backyard workshop near the SDA Church in Voi. Mr. Mwamburi is good and knowledgeable mechanic. Did a service on my old Toyota Landcruiser.

At the moment a bit difficult to find as they are busy making the road up to the Nationalpark. But ask for the church, it’s just next to it.

Beautiful small cave with a nice lake inside. Included is a boat trip on the lake.

Underneath the cave in a small valley with a picnic place. For 300.000 Rial you can spent a quit night here Water and toilets available.

At the Volcanoes National Park office and headquarters they offer free wifi and it's extremely fast! (downloaded 1gb in +-3 minutes!) There are some comfy ppaces to site in shelter and even some plugs available.

Most streets in this area seem ok for a small stealthy rig as long as your smart about it. No signs indicating no parking. Stayed here one night with no issues. Close to a lot of good restaurants and breweries

A dry pan on the left side of the road, approaching the main viewing area. Turn left onto the sandy jeep track across from the 1st parking area on the right. About 500m down this track turn left into a sunken, level and clean area. A vehicle is not visible from the main road and one is also shielded from the wind. No view over the valley, but we shared a very peaceful night here with two big owls. Not sure whether it would be accessible during the rainy season.

Great little Valley overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Not as high up as some of the ones closer to Asheville but stunning nonetheless and perfect for sunrise views. No facilities, not even a garbage can. But nobody came over night and bothered us. We were able to enjoy the sunrise, make breakfast, and get on our way.

This is the office of Botswana Footprints. They were able to help with the reservations for the parks, Kalahari, Chobe, Makgadigadi, Maremi... They do charge 550 P for the service (independent of number of people and length of trip), but trying to organize a route through all the parks with the limited availability and that many different agencies involved (park service, bigfoot, other private camps), we found it quite helpful.

Quiet place and very nice beach. We have parked a little below this location closer to the sea. Sandy beach perfect for bathing, especially from 10am to 5pm. Then the water goes down. We have been very quiet all night and day, only one motorcycle. We recommend it

Just in front of the Masleskooh Valley, there is plenty of space between oaks trees.
There is a beautiful view on the mountains.
We spent a very quiet night here
Easy access for all vehicles
But no water on the river

Super terrain plat pour camper, un peu en retrait du village. Il y a une petite épicerie et des toilettes dans Madeleine centre.

Nice spot right next to the lake, off of a busy-ish road but not the highway. A spot for the dog to run around. Ticks in the area - beware!

Avoid the market basket side of the lot, the manager over there does not like RVs in the lot going past 2 days. No signs saying anything about vehicle restrictions or overnights. but it's less hassle over by Planet Fitness.

There are 7 designated motorhome/campervan spots spread over two lots. Only registered/insured vehicles can overnight here. Free but no services except rubbish bins and bathrooms that are not necessarily open 24/7. 4G signal. Lovely views and a short walk into town.
