There are 7 designated motorhome/campervan spots spread over two lots. Only registered/insured vehicles can overnight here. Free but no services except rubbish bins and bathrooms that are not necessarily open 24/7. 4G signal. Lovely views and a short walk into town.

Old lighhouse and fortress from portuguese times. There is anything special , but a beautiful view of the beach and seashore. Amazing sunset.

Near the Port of Tacoma so it's a very busy stop. Pulled in shortly after 10pm and almost all of the spots were full, but found a spot for one night and wasn't bothered until I left about 8am. The lot is noisy with a lot of idling engines and pretty bright so bring ear plugs and eye or window covers. Cell signal is great with 5 bars 5G AT&T. Not the most peaceful spot, but gets the job done when your options are limited.

Very good hotel: great location, hot water, good water pressure, free wifi, secure parking. The parking garage is at the back of the building, which is a bit confusing to drive through, thanks to the maze of one-way streets. Pro-tip: Google Maps has the entrance to the parking garage as a separate address, so you can use it to navigate there.

Although the park and BLM next door are completely full this holiday weekend, we were the only ones here overnight. Local folks hiking and biking during the day but we had the place to ourselves after dark. Great cell service. The trail behind the fence is nice, especially when the ones in the park are crowded. Check it out! Pick up your trash. Leash your dogs.

Fairly level pull off on the side of the road with a beautiful lake view and a couple of fire pits. There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking or camping. A couple of friendly fisherman came in the evening. A local pulled up to ask if we were camping, and told us that we weren’t allowed to have a fire at that location. There was a fair amount of traffic on the road (including numerous trucks), but it quieted down at night. We got a hero honk at 6am. NB The coordinates may not be the exact location but you’ll see the spot beside Echo Lake.

Dandovueltas said it right, it is a great spot and I don't take pictures because I'm exactly at the same spot. It is a farm for horse riding and someone's so busy with that they don't have time for campers/tents. However, we are lucky and sitting here now outside with a fantastic view. All campings around are very expensive, bad prices for 'oveelanders'. We paid €12 incl electricity (we don't need water so I don't know if that's available) for camper, 2 persons and a dog. Already don't wanna leave here!

Nice place with a nice green garden to relax. We parked in the yard and slept in our campervan. Delicious local dinner and breakfast. The shower and toilets are clean. Excellent.

A good place for a night. $30 unserviced. The lady at checkin said they had wifi, but I couldn't connect at site 5. I didn't try to connect at the office. There is water at the individual sites, but it is not potable.

Most of the sites seem to be seasonal. At least two other overnighters came in after me.

There was both non-potable water and electricity at my "unserviced" site.

CBC at 540.

We wanted to stay overnight but we could't because it was closed. We saw a sign where it said that Tuesday is closed. It seems to be the only day of the week that is closed. Just for your
consideration.

Old and decadent touristic complex. Good times are far, from now. Empty swimming pool (two). But it is a good place to camp for one day. Very close to a nice beach (200 m.). Toilet and shower (cold) in under african average (old, rude and dirty). We could swicht to electricity supply. Friendly staff that speaks a bit on English. 2000 kw (4 euro) for 2 People and camping car with electricity.

We took the other route first from Maralal to Baragoi via the C77 (towns Poro and Suyani)
This road is horrible for about 70 KM’s, we also felt a little unsafe (police was debating if we needed an escort). Also a lot of angry farmers with AK’s and screaming children who throw rocks when you don’t give them sweets.

This road however is beautiful!
You will need a 4x4 (near Maralal it’s very steep) and you can only do this in dry season due to a few river crossings.
But the road is smooth (sand, gravel and tar) with beautiful scenery. People are friendly but also scarce.
I would recommend this route.
Starting (or the other way) from Maralal to Barsaloi and then to Baragoi. Might even be a bit faster!

Don’t forget to ask what the current bandit situation is though! This area is still a bit hectic.

We spend here the last two days among other campers. A lot of people seem to know it so there were all types of vehicles and even cyclists here. The bathrooms are run down as mention before but we cleaned one so it can be used. Water and outdoor showers are working.

One of my better experiences with Toyota dealerships worldwide. They were able to order a replacement part (bellhousing dust cover) for a Tacoma (US made only) within a week. When they entered my VIN, they actually could access all the schematics and parts for my vehicle whereas several other places it just didn't show anything.

Very nice wild campsite in the middle of high peaks, rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Perfekt for hiking and bear spotting :) . The street is ok but not paved- also possible for big rigs- just the part in the Village is a bit narrow and sharp but possible.

Great spot along the River. As stated in other reviews, south of mile marker 187, look for break in guard rail on the east side of highway. We pulled our 25’ trailer in easily. Camped next to River, no road noise after dark.
