Peaceful night, even sleeping right next to the freeway. The spots aren’t perfectly flat but it’s not unmanageable.

Great place for a shower! Individual stalls with strong water pressure. The pools and water slides are awesome, too! Well worth the entrance fee. The lifeguard, Robin, was especially friendly and taught our 10 year old how to dive during open swim.

Lots of great spots with a view of Mt Shasta. Made it easily with a 2WD Sprinter. Some fire pits had no fire flags stuck in them.

We’re heading to Trinidad from San Cosme y Damián. It begins to be dark, we decide to stay here. It costs 140,000G$ for 2 persons per night, in the end 120,000G$ for Matrimonial room. They have a terrace for cooking as you want(barbecue with tools, dishes, washing basin etc). The wifi is super fast even inside the room. It’s new and upgraded hotel. You can park behind the building. Next to here, 24h chipa restaurant is operating.
The owner seems to be strict for the beginning, but smile! He will show his kindness fully.
p.s Ask for the room behind. Cause it’s located at main road.

Cheapest room was 290p with a shared bathroom and fan above the reception. The beds were caved in like a hammock, so we opted for somewhere else. Wouldn’t allow us to sleep in the truck and use their facilities.

We did the approach #1. Beautiful falls across 2 tiers!! Bottom tier is good foe swimming and diving. Top tier may be a little rougher but still possible. Hike took us an hour one way from the parking lot at the bottom. Many people chose to ride horses...

Wouldn’t say this is the nicest part of town, but we had a quiet night and it appeared as tho overnighting is allowed. Parked in the very far corner by the alley. Showered at planet fitness which is right around the corner.
