This was the worst campsite I've visited at this price point.

Parking our relatively short 16ft trailer was difficult in the cramped spots. I had to come in the exit road in order to get the angle required to park. The group that arrived after us had similar issues.

Our site had dog poop left in the turf.

The spa was out of order.

The oak trees were covered in "oak worm" caterpillars. They were descending from the trees continuously through our 4 day stay in August. Our "luxury" patio area was covered with them, and they crawled up wheels, cables, chairs, awnings, chocks, everything. We cleaned off the picnic table and within 5 minutes it was unusable. We were stepping on them and getting them under our feet in our sandals. We understand that nature must take it's course, but when customers are paying $120+/night, they should shut down the plagued sites while it does or at least warn campers before they book.

Spent the past 3 days here. Nice and quiet. Lots of wasps though. Not aggressive but a constant presence. Really nice view of the stars.

I did not stay the night here but sends like you could- there were no signs saying no overnight parking l- just a sign saying that unattended vehicles would be towed after 30 minutes. Nice quiet wooded, no facilities.

Handful of other vans and RVs here the night we stayed. Pretty well lit and a bit noisy but fine for a night. There was a park a few minutes drive where we used the washroom.

If you use iOverlander, chances are this is usually not your type of camping :) (quite packed with caravans). Having said that, this is a pleasant place to get some rest after a long day of driving, without having to look for a suitable place to wild camp in this busy region. Clean pool and bathrooms, small shop and friendly owners.

Great place to stay in Jalpan, we tried the lake site but it was hard to find a level spot, and it was super noisy on a Saturday. Called Daniel and he promptly opened his space to us. Clean and comfortable space, no other dogs around which was a relief, there's a gate so we felt very safe and clean bathrooms. There's a cooking/eating area as well and the best WiFi we've had so far. Daniel is a fellow traveller so we had good conversation with him. Highly recommended.

Best camping! I was lucky to get the best spot just right next to the lake! very clean I love it!

It is now $39 for an unserviced site to camp in a field. Some of the sites do have amazing views though.

in order not to crowd-out locals suggest only one camper to stay here - very quiet in the night - lots of trash - sandy access to sea for swimming on south side

Beautiful spot with picnic tables beautiful sunsets and sun rises, some people park where they can as not everyone parks to maximize spaces.
Would return.

Sanitarios, cafetería, agua potable. Motorhome, camper, Casa rodante.
También hay restaurante a metros y gomería cruzando la ruta.

Main parking area for Cascade Mountain. There are a few pull offs here, this one is slightly down from where the trail starts. No signs prohibiting parking overnight. Arrived around 7 p.m. and had no issues. people started pulling in to hike around 5:30 a.m. Portapotties up the road at the trailhead. 10 minute drive to Lake Placid. 3 bars of Verizon 4g. There was decent noise from cars going by all night but not enough to disturb sleep. A longer rig may have trouble fitting in the spots but there was plenty of room for our 22 ft skoolie.

Great spot by the river with multiple campsites available. Fire pits and outhouses here as well. We made the rookie mistake of not checking for *multiple* campsites and crashed some poor couples campsite in the middle of the night. They were very lovely and understanding of our blunder

Magnifique site dans le tranquille Village de Grondine. Toilette et eau potable de 10h à 22h. Peu fréquenté. Longe la piste cyclable. Borne d’outils pour vélo disponible. Borne de recharge pour véhicule électrique. Parking autorisé pour 24h.

Beautiful spot right on the water. level ground.

Douches chaudes payantes (0,25$) au camping Beaubassin. La dame de l’information touristique m’a dit que c’était accessible à tout le monde qui fréquente la plage. Il y a aussi des toilettes au même endroit.

Un peu bruyant mais ça fait la job pour une nuit.

great place to fill up with water and wash the dogs! easy to park the truck. still need your own hose...a 10 foot hose will work.

Nice place, until 23:30 everything ok. tomorrow I'll let you know how the night went.

agreed super quiet. no problems. i parked behind the crackle barell in corner of 2nd parking lot beside a tree.

Off-roading area on BLM land. It can be pretty uneven but there are some flattish spots with fire pits. Great views of the valley if you go deeper in and higher up.

We stopped to stay the night to avoid a huge thunderstorm moving through Minneapolis. Tons of other vans, RVs, and trucks parked in the spaces between the gas pumps and the roads. Clean bathrooms and a relatively quiet night other than the rain.

Park parking lot. No signs that prevent overnight parking. I was alone here last night but it felt safe. Bathrooms in proximity (during park opening hours) and a decent view. Definitely beats the walmarts and truckstops along the way. Was worth driving an hour further to feel safer.

Hard to beat free. A bit rough but pleasant enough. In behind the complex of stores/bar/cafe. Some picnic benches. Large flatish area to park/turn around. Generator was turned off at 10pm or so. Loads of hunters on quads stopping by for a drink and a very loud rifle shot at 10pm of so to cap off the fun. Clean outhouses. Gas and diesel fuel. Garbage can. Would rate it 3 star out of 5.

Large open area off Lambertiana Rd. A little rough driving in if you have a low clearance, but a good flat area and plenty of room to turn around if you have a trailer. Looks like it gets some dirt bike riding so don't park in front of the berm just in case. Very little road noise, but there is a train in the area - didn't go by overnight.

was pretty busy when I arrived but almost empty parking in the back. open later than most CB's that I have been too, 10pm sun - thu, 11pm fri/sat. quiet. planet fitness 3 miles away in town.
