Lifeonroad | Beautiful place, lots of space for RV's, very close to downtown and nice walking trails a long the lake. The only downside is there a rail road track right beside and the train went by once late last night and again early morning. Also between 2 streets very busy, very noisy. Still same sign as photos already posted. |

mel.maskell | Loved this campground. It was quiet, the campgrounds are well spaced and private, garbage and water easily found, and had a great kids park. The lake is serene and calm, though does come with swimmers itch protocol. 18$/night, first come first serve. You arrive and there is a list of ‘reserved’ spaces. The rest are free game. Pick one, park, chill. A park worker will come by to register you and charge you for your stay (18$ cash). All are no-service sites that come with a fire pit and picnic table. No phone service or wifi either. It’s a great escape place and we loved it. It was wicked hot though but the night cools decently. Dog friendly, nice trails, we liked it. Kamloops is around 20min away and has everything, even a costco. |

mrudoma | Very nice spot by beautiful lake with surrounding mountains. As described long rough road in but no problem in 2wd van just go slow and wonderful scenery along the way, open meadows with mountains in background. Some of the campsites are tight together but outer ring along creek is nice and private enough $15/night. Only half full middle of week. Well worth drive just ask gate how full. Lake is gorgeous and very refreshing for dip after dusty drive. Do yourself a favor and get the best pastry ever created on the way in/out: huckleberry bear claws at polebridge mercantile |

keesmom3 | We spent a peaceful night at this rest area. Felt safe, had good Verizon coverage. The van fit easily into a car space. Plenty of picnic tables. While there was interstate noise, trees hid much of the traffic and buffered the noise. |

georgiapeach1366 | Map to get here was wrong, but we eventually found it. Lots of deer, after hours check in is simple. Just take an envelope, find a spot, then put $35 in the envelope and fill it out and turn in the night drop. No showers, but the bathrooms are nice. Running toilets, toilet paper, sinks but no soap. Gets cold in there. Many beautiful spots. Some w electricity some without. We had a sand dune spot but next time we would get a water view. Very quiet and beautiful star views. |

buhnrop69420 | Wide open rocky beach. Probably around 10 other vehicles camping. Several site rules when you enter posted. Not too high of clearance required but the entry off-road path can become more worn and make navigating long, low clearance vans a challenge. |
