The bridge has been finished, no problem to drive this road with any vehicle. It's about 15km of gravel, after that it's tarmac.

Free camping 14 day per 30 days limit. Multiple areas to camp in 3 separate areas. Vault toilets and water at the dump station. Able to camp right on the water. Moderately busy - 5 other people camping but still room to spread out.

Open for winter! Plowed by camp manager early so perfect place to stay a few days and hit the slopes

Great little hotel for 1 night. Paid 70000 for a double bed and private bathroom. Lots of hot water. Good wifi. Little kitchen you can use. Free secured parking next door. Very nice and friendly staff. Town restaurants are 500 to 800 m away

VERY primitive place, rather run down, friendly owners, now 6$ / 24h, plate of (good) fish 6$. Lots of shade, no direct view of the beach (sand mount with palapa), still the only place in Mizata to "comfortably" stay with your rig.Right next door - if open - excellent and not expensive seafood in beach restaurant, very friendly and amiable lady, absolutely recommendable!

Epic place next to the river worth the money and easy to find after crossing the boarder

Stayed one night at campground. Arrived about 530 pm on a Monday night. We were the only ones here. Beautiful views and easy access to the trail. Road in was not too bad. We have high clearance and 4wd but it would not have been necessary.

Beautiful spot! And a much needed respite from the howling desert winds this time of year.

No problem for my 2WD transit, but you could potentially find yourself mildly stuck if you venture too far off the main road. Just be cautious.

Wow! Ate dinner one night, came back the next to camp. $5 for 2 adults and a kid. Bathrooms and shower open all night.

Quiet campsite with lovely views, picnic table, and very primitive outhouse. The owner, Armando, is super friendly. He showed us around the old sets and told us stories about the movies filmed at the location. Decent Telcel reception. Hiking and horseback riding are possible. Highly recommend!

This is an awesome stop. Toss a donation in the box. Check out more accordions than you have ever seen in one place. If you’re lucky, the legend will play a little bit. Wonderful spot.

We parked just a bit east of the pin here. Great location for day parking and maybe okay for a van or car camping over night, but we are a 26.5ft Class C so we just parked for the afternoon. Plus it’s a bit sloped so we don’t know if it would be best for sleeping.

Close to downtown and the heart of things. Quiet and safe feeling residential area. Moved to the Cracker Barrel for overnight but plan to come back during the day tomorrow.

This place is a bit of a rip off. $55 for a power only site (there is a dump station) or $55 for a sea front site without power. And we got kicked out at 9am because the air force was launching a rocket in our general direction. 14 miles in and out on a poor road. $1 for a 3 minute shower. Nice enough place but a rip off.

Really nice place to eat. Kind or permanent market with big covered terras. The place to try local food for a cheap price. Informal place, and I ate two times very tasty :) aso a lot of local come here.
