Guinea Bissau to Guinea! I did it with my VW T3 Syncro I forget the exit stamp in candembel after candembel is coming a short muddy part you have to winch locals helping until the border is full of bush after the border is less bush crossing ferry with porige or big ferry for car 15.000 cfa no carnet stamp. entry stamp 7 km after the ferry only 4x4 no big rig for motorbike nice experience defender etc. sometimes mush bush. From bissau to ferry 1 day from ferry to Boke 1 day 300 km les then the “normal way” boke is the first city where you get concrete under your car Police corrupt of cause you need high tide to cross the river for the car ferry good lock guys ;) |

Perfect place. We asked the soldiers when we arrived (late at night) and they said it was ok, they checked our van and even said that we were safe, that they would take care of us during night. Go to Chocolatera so worth it and free. |

Great spot just down from Goblin Valley SP-wasn't sure the fee, so I put a $20 in with my registration-worth it in my opinion. I had the whole place to myself when I went to sleep and woke up to a tent and truck on the other side of the camping area. Nice firepit, tables, and toilets. Beautiful panoramic view looking over a ridge. Very little if any traffic, but it was late February. |

We don’t gamble, however earned a second night’s stay by spending money at the Grill. (and showing receipts) Breakfast sandwich is a terrific value. $5 for two thick slices of sourdough (you can choose meat, cheese, bread and egg style), two sausage patties, a good amount of cheese, two eggs and hashbrowns on the side. Breakfast menu not online, and these things change, but what a value! Pretty quiet, convenient to birding hotspots and trails. AT&T three bars. Thank you, Desert Diamond Casino! |

mostly smooth, but we didn't do the fumigation process and were asked to turn around and get it. also they all accepted MX$. we tried hard to exchange money before but didn't manage. if only we had known... we were told there's an atm with blz$ in the free zone, but couldn't find it.

BEST place to camp in Joshua Tree. A lot of people (but in a nice way(?)) everyone is spread out and there are lots of options to find a good place to set up. Also a good area to set up camp with a big group of people. You can either camp in the desert or on the dry lake bed. Both are cool experiences. We spent many days here, multiple times. Highly recommend. Good cell signal and LTE |
