Nice park on the water with plenty of shade, very nice water fountain with a jug filling spout and threaded spigot. A big sink with three faucets you can wash dishes or clothes in. Bathrooms were fairly clean too and had toilet paper.

Stopped here for a second time, this time going up North. Charge was 200 per person without hook ups. I like this place better than La Pila, but it's more expensive (La Pila asked 280). It's a stopover place going either North or South and it's convenient. No issues with Starlink, plenty of open sky to the North.

Quality and cheap place.

We paid 3000 ARS, it was his 13.274th car đŸ’Ș

Stayed here for 3 nights I parked the farthest from the building. Saw other people sleeping in cars, vans, and a small RV. Lots of food and shopping close by. Red Rock Canyon a few miles down the road. No issues - pretty quite at night!

In date of today, there's a large orange cone over the spigot I presume, because there's no spigot to be seen next to the air station. Didn't bother to ask, maybe we can just ask and they allow to use it...

The little shopping plaza has signs against overnight parking. It's cool that people are getting away with it, but I wouldn't be able to get to sleep with those signs starting at me

We spent two quiet nights there. A good spot to sleep if you don't want to stay in the city of San Martin but don't go too far away from it !

Small rustic campground with wonderful hosts Duke and Sharon. We found this campground after stopping by the very busy / no vacancy Gilbert Ray campground and the check-in office gave us an info sheet of nearby campgrounds.

Tucson Snowbird Nest has 5-stars on Google and our experience was wonderful too. We called and checked on availability and had a spot. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. Quiet space with flush toilets, showers, potable water. Good cel service on Verizon. And loved the lemons Duke shared with us! Definitely recommend and will stay again when we are in the area.

Informal place to stay, you see a few other Motorhomes at the beach.
Be sure to check the tide tables before you park, the water rises and lowers A LOT, you don't want to be floating by morning.
We arrived at night and stayed right at the "tip" of the punta, there was nobody there, but by morning many cars arrived with people who came to enjoy the beach.
Very nice experience with the beach! It's a great place to stay overnight if you are on a self-sufficient vehicle.

Great spot on BLM with few cows. I think it's actually owned by coyotes as they came on a bunch on my second night there at 4am and started screaaaaming and making a bunch of sounds. Kind of spooky but they left after a couple minutes. Might've been because of my dog too, but I was safe in my car anyhow.
Great scenery all around and free roaming cows. Close to the highway so you can hear cars faraway but nothing like in a rest area. Went with a SUV and would'nt go with a normal car.

Beautiful visitor center located just off I81. Thought I’d take a chance and asked if they allow overnight parking and they absolutely do. They even fill in a form with your vehicle information ti fax to local police so you don’t get bothered by them. Lovely walking path leads down to old log cabins, picnic tables, and garbage cans. Building is open (with restrooms) 9am to 5pm. Quieter than Cracker Barrel and the Walmart across the way doesn’t allow overnight. Extremely friendly and helpful. Only con
parking spaces aren’t completely level
i just parked so the head of my bed was on the higher side 😊

Established campsite with fire ring off of Kelso Road opposite the dune field. Nice hike to the top of the tallest dune, about 3.5 miles round trip. Entry permit to Mojave National Preserve required (NPS). Pit toilets about 200 yards up the road at the parking area.

The exact place is not on the state border, but a few km's towards SA. Only SA inbound traffic is checked. When you leave SA into Victoria you are free to take fruit and veggies with you.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. 30 km outside El calafate. Very simple site with one shower. Toilets were clean. Food available in the restaurant. They were happy for us to use their kitchen to make breakfast. We paid usd60 for one night in mini van for two people plus two steak dinners plus two bottles of wine.

Spacious grassy campsite. it says 'for roof tents/trucks' and it was almost empty, super quiet when we went. One other self drive camper in a ground tent. There's a big kitchen area but was locked, and another big shelter with nothing inside. Okay ish ablutions and a water tank with a tap. No hot water. Quite nice and peaceful in the bush, lots of hyena around (and other small noctural mongoose etc!) while we were cooking and through the night.

Indian owned workshop with connections all over town.
After trying to find anyone who could replace our ABS cable, this guy was having time for us and could to it.
We came back early the next morning, he didn't just fix the ABS issue but also fixed a part on the suspension that was also broken. Very friendly owner. He did a great job with all the work done and charged a fair price.

There are plenty of mechanics, auto electricians and other workshops in this part of town.
Right opposite this place is a whole saler if you want restock on bulk groceries and there is also a bicycle workshop. They repair and fix bikes and sell parts.

Fairly run down and basic. 2 beds but one so hard no way could sleep on it. We cycled and were shattered. Charged us $25 dollars for the room which seemed a lot but our first in Nicaragua so were unsure. I wouldn't say they were friendly or helpful and the woman was clearly telling the man he was asking too much. Felt safe. But they had the tv on most of the night so hard to sleep. Bit of a, disappointing start to Nicaragua

Nice spot to spend the night. Stayed on a Tuesday and only a few cars passed by. Dirt road was probably manageable for sedans but due to recent rains and snow could only be passed by high clearance vehicles.

The site didn't appear to be used much when I stayed. Really clean, let's keep it that way!

We tried to exit Mexico yesterday but the Banjercito is CLOSED ON MONDAY so we went back to Tenesque and stayed the night. Then arrived before 9 on Tuesday. No issues canceling tip or getting exit stamp. Very friendly. Entering Guatemala was a process but very friendly and helpful. Passport stamp in small building on right. Vehicle import in white trailer with steep steps. Had to go make copies of stamped passport and back of my title and also pay for vehicle at small bank up the street. Two hours and whole process was complete.
