I parked overnight here for two nights and was not bothered. The parking lot has about 25 spots but not good for big rigs. Cars and vans only. The picnic and bathroom area has signs for “day use only” but no signs for “no overnight parking”. The bathroom/shower is about a minute walk down some steps and is split for gender and has one shower stall each. Free.

Stayed 5 nights, 1st at the river camp under the lovely Willow tree, the best camp spot if willing to walk or have own toilet and shower, due to rain we upgraded to single rooms R250 pppn, 2nights Garden camp, perfect spot if you want to be close to bathrooms, great kitchen etc, R150pppn, perfect base for doing the Ben10 passes. Will always return

free for 7 days. 6-7 designated spots. don't park/camp anywhere else. this spot is monitored, so don't burn it. water is very high on the Yellowstone River right now. be weary during the rain as the river can and will breach the walls and flood the place. picnic tables and fire rings at all spots. stayed 5 nights. I assume they were locals came by a few nights and threw stuff at my RV or banged on my windows late at night. They didn't when others were camped there so just be aware. lots of fun rocks to look for. Trains go by pretty frequently day and night. good trees to hang hammocks.

Camping car park. No tents or trailers. Next to the river and trails. Super quiet, decent wifi and strong 4G. Some large pitches but probably not more than 7m.

Good street parking by apartments and 1 block from beach. No signs. 4 other rigs parked. Cars driving by playing music, people talking outside apts until 11, so not the quietest but felt safe. Bathroom at beach opens at 8am and was clean. Go watch the surfers in the morning!

Spent another night here but wow there was a ton of people here compared to last time. Campers that looked almost immovable and overflowing all types of crap into the grass. Still no one bothered and easy in and out for the night.

Really nice place to stop. The road is covered by trees and it gets quiet at night. Would definitely recommend sleeping here. Feels like wild camping

A lady from the county came by and surveyed me by activity, name, and state/county of origin. Said they'll be developing the property to have hook-ups and will start charging somewhere in the ballpark of state park fees to camp here, the process towards which should start around the end of summer.

She also said skeeter control was scheduled to spray tonight, which I'm thankful for, as this place likes to get inundated with em. They're not terrible right now, but definitely present.

horrible experience in the showers! first is only male showers, so as a woman i was forced to use it in company of my boyfriend. The shower was cold and the bathroom was smelly, like something dead was there, really dirty, and they charge us 200 pesos each.

We did not want to park before or in the village so we drove up the old mountain pass road west of the vill8 age. Only very few cars passed in the evening, several flat spots within the first 3 km going south.

Small hotel street but we managed to get there with our RV which is not the smaller (VW T4 + Cell). Safe street as there are only restaurants and hostels nearby.

We stayed in the parking spots opposite the police station and we had zero issues.
Keep in mind it’s the middle of the city center so the noises and cars driving by start at 7/8am.
Very close to many bars and restaurants where you can use the restrooms.

I think this place no longer exists. They recently paved this area of the road and there is no longer access to the forest. We drove right past this place.

Still open and still serving coffee and snacks. There is a room where they sell honey, jams, doce de leite, etc. Being inside the small house itself is the highlight, and really gives you an idea of what life was like decades ago.

Good restaurant at the Warrie Head resort.
We had a delicious lunch on a beautiful terrace between the trees and birds. Friendly staff.

We didn’t stay here for the night but they rent cabanas as well.

Paid parking all over the city but this small section of street has no signs, free parking 24/7. Parked here 2 nights. One other van. 4 bars 5G on Bell. Just off the main road, relatively quiet at night (normal city noises) but busy during the day.

Large flat area created next to a large excavated pit. Could fit several rigs of any size. Didn’t stay just checked out while boondocking closer to Goldfield. The wild donkeys left some “gifts”

Nice calm parking for the night. There are paid parking lots for people with boat trailers and free parking lots for every other car in the sectors A,E,H&I.
There were also a lot of benches in the small park, a restroom with running water and a nice view over the river.

We slept two nights here. There are some “No Camping” signs, but they appear to be directed to the sand due to the spawning of the turtles. Parking is on the street, but in front of the beach. A little noisy during the day, but quiet at night. We felt safe :)
__________

Dormimos duas noites aqui.

Beautiful spot! Free camping, road was being paved while we were there. Huge rocky beach, surrounded by mountains and icy blue water colour of lake so distinctive to BC. Plenty of spots to choose from with fire pits. Put toilets were clean. Would stay here again in the future!

Free water at the side of the car wash building. Did not use dump station as it was awkward as other described.

Great spot. A bit windy so we moved to the left (opposite to Page) to get less sand and more quiet spot.

Water still not available at the dump station, so we filled at the car wash near the Marathon in Page.

Lake level is very low. Expect to walk about 500ft from the camping spots (where the sand is firm) to the lake.
