It is a very quiet place, with plenty of space to camp. The price per person is 6 thousand colones with breakfast included.

Incredible place. The good energy of the Zapp family is felt at all times. We meet other travelers and share magical days and nights. It has all the amenities for travelers on MH motorcycles bicycles. No problem for big trucks. Highly recommended. @TravelingConvos

Spent two nights here. Spot #2. Good for some shade but enough sun to keep my solar topped off. Clean bathrooms. Didn’t use laundry. Close to the downtown area.

Long gravel pullout. There is one tent camping spot that was occupied next to the pullout, but sleeping in my van on the other end couldn't hear each other over the river noise. Some fishermen coming and going on the weekends but absolutely beautiful scenery and the river sounds great. No service at all. Separated from the highway enough you barely hear anything. Would recommend.

Loved this spot. Yes it is windy but the views and seclusion are great. Seen a toucan, some monkeys, some capybara and lots of cows! There's fish in the little pond next to the sites. Bathrooms were nice with hot showers. Cute walking trails that lead to a waterfall with no water in it 😂 but still cool. 5000pnpp

Still 4k pp, which is a very good price these days. Super friendly owners, friendly camping doggo's, very clean bathrooms with nice and hot showers, good parillas... We stayed for three nights. Recommended!

New and fancy amenities building. No WiFi. Turkcell yes. Weekend second half April 2024 we were the only guests. Rig with trailer, 2 persons, no electricity .... TL 1050 (€ 30) low season, but Mehmet gave us a free loaf of bread. 1x use normal washing machine € 9. We stayed one night and went to Top View wild camp.

Slept one night here before the border. Very quiet. We first drove to the camping down the road but it was too expensive for us as we only wanted a place to sleep and would not use anything of the nature reserve. They recommended this place to us by themselves.

Parking lot of a fireworks store. Ask the owner if we could camp for the night and he said no problem. They actually camp behind the building themselves on a regular basis. Here’s the website for their store. https://maps.app.goo.gl/QFZd16gyqCaWmZmE7?g_st=ic

Don't miss this lake, it is truly superb! The pink is vibrant. There are also pink flamingos in the surrounding area.

Alfa is one of the best places we’ve experienced on our trip here in Angola. The place is beautiful, relaxing and has a feeling of home because of how welcoming and nice the owners were. They had very good food drinks and service delivery. The plan was to stay one night but ended up staying for three nights for free, only catch was to eat there. We were offered the outdoor showers and toilets for our stay there.

This location no longer allows vehicles to camp inside the grounds (tents only). Vehicles can camp in their parking lot across the street, no amenities, no trees and no washroom access in the evening when the park gate closes. We decided to camp at another water park in the same town called Balneario el Carrizal where they have a camping area inside the park.

Price is now 20000ppn. Toilets and shower old, but clean.
Restaurant is nice and the pizza tastes like in Italy. Little breakfast still included.
Good for one night after driving the bumpy roads of the Zomba plateau.

We set up our tent at the edge of a field just before Huari. The place is behind some dirt hills, so you’re not visable from the road. You still hear some road noice but traffic isn’t to bad here.

Stayed one night, didn't attempt to go further than the first flat spot of the side dirt road because the dirt road was very ragged. Right off the highway so road noise was apparent but not bothersome to us.

We slept one week here, beautiful place. It gets really dark at night but we felt safe, we even left our car there to explore the city. No Water or electricity.

Dormimos una semana acá, muy seguro, incluso dejamos el Motorhome y fuimos a explorar la ciudad. Muy seguro y silencioso. Puede ser un poco oscuro de noche.

Not my favorite stop. Loud road noise. Toilets were disgusting when I went to check them out earlier. Haven’t been to the shower building yet. If it’s anything like the toilets, a match and some gasoline should clear it up.

You get to the campsite through Lakeoil Fuel Station that's just after kikopey shopping center on way from Nairobi.
Campsite next to the lake with good views, hot shower available, cell network coverage is good. Charging points only available at the restaurant. Overland rigs can get it.

We had a delicious and wonderful stay here and were well received by Kika and Anouar.
It’s a great place for Overlanders to rest and connect with other travellers. It’s one of those must stay places in Colombia along with Guarmo near Barachara.
The Tuesday market in Silvia is worth waiting for especially if you are lucky enough to go with Kika! She will give you lots of history and show you some new veggies to try.
5 star experience for sure. Kikas bread is delicious and Anouar makes a tasty tagine!

Chilled hostel in downtown Oaxacha.
Hard to find a hostel with secure motorbike parking in Centre but this hostel has a secure public parking yard virtually opposite the front door so safe to leave the motorbike. Dorm rooms only but good kitchen and bathrooms. No camping
