One ablutionblock is completely rundown (wethink the t-rex one ;-) ), the other one has one working toilet and one cold shower. Water was available

I went with these guys and they are just simple hunters trying to make some extra cash. I saw more dead then life animals to be honest. Wasnt very happy about it

Rustic camp with a super view, fire spot, picnic table, access at the beach, some tree to hang hammock . We pushed back the camper next to number 15. Little price for the gentleman clean this place. Sunset wow

Here you can do many thinks for your car. It is like a school for body, welding, painting, air conditioning… they can can fix you everything. Very good job and friendly people

We wanted to split the drive to Nouakchott and wanted some shade from the mountains, so we drove straight there from the road and found this incredible tree providing amazing shade (although it is still 40°C).

We used low range 2nd and 3rd gear and I would say a 4x4 is recommended for clearance.

Nice spot with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. We stayed for one night and it was quiet and we felt very safe.

Good place to overnight. Only during the day cars cross the river to go to the church .
Before the river is a flat place to park your camper.

Trail is steep but our two kids of 8 and 10 managed to get there. The view itself is not astonishing, the waterfall is quite distant and does not have that much water.

As described, cute little spot for a quiet night (we parked down to the left of the boat launch in a small dead-end, minimal road noise but limited signal too). Note that the parking area is big but not levelled everywhere. Can be quite windy.

Next to the Road to the extremly Large Telescope. They are still building the Telescope so the Road is not used at all. You have a great view on the very Large Telescope and are in a moon-like landscape here.

Not the busiest Cracker Barrel when it comes to camping. We were alone when we arrived, but in the morning there were two other campers.
A lot of light is coming from the nearby hotel and a lot of noise from the nearby factory. It worked for us but still wasn't the most comfortable night.

Quaint and fibrant full of locals enjoying the beach. So great to see and experiance as the only gringo here. fiesta music that did not go on too late and was not too loud, a few ATV's on the beach, nothing obnouxious. I'm fully self contained so I did not use the bathrooms. Restruant looked and smelled good. Freindly people

Potable Water here but not working in April due to the season

Now it's forbidden to stop here, we just arrived and a guy in the front house came and said its forbidden and police will remove us. We followed ahead and saw motorhome prohibited signs. We followed to the end of this street, to Maira and Fabio's House.

Ao parar aqui um senhor apareceu e disse que está proibido. Seguimos mais a frente e vimos placas de proibicao de motorhomes. Seguimos para o final dessa rua, na casa do Fábio e Maira, um excelente lugar para ficar.

We slept here 2 nights. Very quiet and safe at night. Better than in the city center I guess.

Water park with cabanas and flat camping area. Asked 180p pp, we offered 150p/100p pp with/without the use of pools, and they agreed. Wifi with small fee 20p.

Very nice guest house with restaurant and the possibility to park our car. Had a very good dinner and could try different wines!
Toilet and shower are on the ground. Highly recommend!

Lovely, quiet campsite in the middle of nature with amazing views! 4x4 is necessary to drive there but the owners offer pick-up services and guided us with their car.

Another very dark, quiet night. The restaurant is now a Mexican family restaurant. There is water at the park and on the back of the building. Only about five 18-wheelers and they were clear down at the other end.

Perfect for 1 night, grass area in the mountain side, if you drive a few meters into the field you will be partiality hidden from the road. Good Megacom 4g connection, but not Beeline. Quiet at night, almost no traffic. View of the mountains and fields. Friendly locals.

Another enjoyable night at a Cracker Barrel. Clear signage for RV / Camper parking and 3 designated spots. Rest of spots fit standard class b. 2 other rigs here when I arrived and 1 more when I left in the AM ~8am. Always so refreshing feeling welcomed! Thanks, Cracker Barrel!

Cool open terrain to drive through, with tons of sea-lions and some seals at this spot. No one was there when we were here just before sunset in the shoulder season. Lot of wind indeed.
