Ask the locals if they are currently allowed to fish. Since last year the government has started to have a few months were fishing is prohibited in order to give the water life a chance to grow back. All the fish now comes from rivers and lake Victoria.

Really fresh and nice fruits and veggies!! Good price. Everybody wants to sell, so be prepared for a fruit and veggie storm around your head;) but all very nice!

We did not sleep here but it looks nice . Probably very busy in flowering season .

Very nice place, grassy parking. Quiet at night. Ok for big rigs. Only week days but it was possible for us also Friday night because very low season and not busy. We paid 50 pp also kid but good breakfast included. Many discount in restaurants (10%) and turtles (half prices). Toilets and cold showers very clean. Little garden that you can use with hamac. Near from center.

Spent the night here with no problems. Several other vans and a couple campers stayed also. Good Verizon signal.

Prior descriptions are accurate. Price is now $90 for a gravel slot with 30 amp power on a Saturday night. This isafter all the taxes and fees. Original quote was $70 a night. We didn’t have reservations and they had a lot of availability. After 5pm you need to call a phone number and then drive to the front desk of the hotel. I recommend just going to the front desk and booking there first.

Très bon spot, plusieurs grands parking dispo. 1er soir dormi sur le parking du parc à chien très tranquille mais bruit de l'autoroute à côté. 2e sur le parking derrière le pavillon d'accueil (douches et sanitaires gratuits de 9h à 21h), il y a plus de passage surtout si évènement sportif mais on entend moins l'autoroute.

Access is steep and narrow with vegetation. We did not go down with a rented standard RV.

Went here to get help with our broken roofrack. ARB couldn't help us, but here the owner could. She speaks very good English and helped us out a lot. parts that they don't have, she can still arrange for you. This is a shop that doesn't have the priority to make money, but to deliver a great service! We'll definitely be back here.

Really beautiful place, very quiet and wonderful szenery. Maybe we didn't find the easy entrance, but you would at least need high clearance to get there, while the most problematic part was shortly after leaving the road to Uyuni.

Nice campspot near river, very quiet. Beautiful nature: many birds, some frogs and wildflowers. No vulcano view, but a bit more sheltered from the wind (which was very welcome with our rooftop tent) and less exposed. Easy access for all vehicles.

been here an hour and I love this place. the owners are here weekends, so come and stay. bring everything you need. water is good and drinkable. proper peace and quiet. still N$100 or R100.

In the night there is a security guy at the gate. There are a lot of homeless people on the ground camping in tents though. So on the first look, it felt creepy. But they are allowed to stay there and use the infrastructure (toilet, shower, electricity). They didn’t bother us, not at all. We stayed one night with several other campers. We felt safe, no intents of a break-in or something like what was mentioned in the previous comments.

The most accessible spilgot is on the left of bathrooms right In front on the group picnic tables

Usual Walmart parking lot we were parked at the foremost part of the parking in diagonal of the Walmart

Yes i understand, parking next to someone else can feel safe.... but it doesnt make me feel comfortable when i wake up and go outside to pee and could very well just pee on your tent because its SO CLOSE.

Also ... had a farmer come up and ask us if we knew what happened to 3 of his cows that are "down" out here in a field. . . that was a month ago. . . i come back a month later and you can still just see the Three d3ad cows rotting off in the distance. . .

lots of flys.... could be from that ? or could just be the area.

This spot is fine for one night but no longer. Quiet while night and in the morning.

Very nice camp area. Came in with a 42' 5th wheel. Room for 4-5 friends.

Tem até um camping porém sem chuveiro e os banheiros estão muito detonados mas vale a visita ao museu e vermos meteoritos. Somos do canal Acampamento Terapia do YouTube.

As described! Lovely bathrooms and excellent WiFi! We paid U$20pppn camping. The campsites are first come first served. Taxi ride to the falls is U$5 one way.

Pauline is accepting travellers into her home. Her and her sister have a wonderful place right along the highway to offer food and lodging. I was cycle touring in the area and this is perfect for cyclists. Also perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable, very convenient spot to stay. An authentic Zambian experience with kind hosts.
Two large bedrooms, a dbl and a single. I was fed a great traditional supper and breakfast. A huge yard in which tents can be set up. Beautiful relaxing place for the night or several whether you’re passing through or staying for a while.
(No wifi but good signal, possibly will have wifi in future)

I just slept here overnight, and had no problems. Lots of flat spots but no shady ones. Far enough from the trucks and highway that it was actually pretty quiet. Nice water fountain with a bottle filler. Also a jug filler in the bathroom although I didn't check if it works or not .

Just as the previous visitor described. Could probably have two cars one behind another in the spot, beautiful view and very quiet. I was there most of the day Saturday and overnight into Sunday and probably only had 10 cars passed by. No one bothered me. 1-2 bars with t mobile.

Nice spot, felt safe and quiet. Arrived around 11:30 pm and went to check into guest services. They were super nice and just wrote my name and license plate number down in a book. There is 5G roaming signal on T-Mobile and a clear view of the sky for Starlink.

très bel endroit pour dormir avec une van. à quelques mètres du lac et relativement tranquille même si c'est près de la route. Je recommande !
