Shell flagship station, large yard, currently under renovation, home to many overnight trucks. Hot bath R$5.00. If you fill up, you don't pay. I spent the night in front of the grocery store. Everything is OK
Pernoitei atrás do posto. Não cobram pelo pernoite e uso dos banheiros.

Easy to find, gravel parking area with several vans already there; lenty of room for 6 or so. A little road noise but not bad.

Plenty of spots along both sides of about half mile of sandy road. 2WD okay in some spots but AWD or 4WD recommended in the sandy spots. A port a potty was placed from what it looks like not to long ago as it’s either just cleaned or just placed.

We tried to stay there but they had an "event" that night and so it was not possible. Said tomorrow would be no problem.

Looked nice from what we saw but there is nothing around and from their behaviour (did not open door directly and directly send someone to look after our car which was parked in the parallel road) did not feel like a safe neighbourhood.

Merritt BC Walmart parking lot . We were in the area to stay at a few Forestry campsites in the area but all campsites were taken . We checked iOverlander and here we are. Great spot with restraints close by. Thanks for the tip.

Nous avons été surpris de la tranquillité du lieu malgré les camions. L’accès 24/7 aux toilettes est parfaite.

Great spot right by the river, lots of mosquitos but that’s to be expected at this time of year. The creek has a nice deep swimming area.

Beautiful campground with overflow parking for vehicles, no camping aloud unfortunately. Very clean flushing toilets. Potable water.

32 dollars too much for overflow, but probably worth it if you had an actual site.
BEWARE OF THE BUGS, usually there is wind at this campground but the night we stayed there was none. Bugs are so small they get through bug nets. So be prepared for that.

Stayed here overnight, good Verizon surface. Didn't hear any trains come by until the morning. Had no issues staying here

The road to the trailhead is very narrow, overgrown and the beginning is deeply rutted - wouldn’t recommend trying to get a decent sized rig in here. We parked just off the highway (big parking area - see picture) and walked in to the trailhead - only about a kilometre (took 15 minutes). Picked up some trash while there - please remember to leave no trace.

This was such a dope spot(s)! I arrived late (after midnight) & there were many rvs but plenty of room. I was so tired I just picked the first spot & it def wasn't level. I assumed they were all like that until morning when I saw they weren't so I moved up about 15ft & spent the day by the beach.
Good signal (att/tmobile)
It's a pretty busy spot, understandably so, but it wasn't overwhelming.

Stayed for one night. Tons of space and many stores around with washrooms even at night.
Loud from the traffic but not too bad.
No one bothered us.

South of the top of Thompson pass lookout/pullout. Where the guard rail ends there is a road, take that road to many spots along a ridge. Views are amazing! But the road is very rough and has big rocks. We have a truck camper. And we saw a tear drop trailer. And lots of vans. Nothing larger recommended . No services. Verizon 4 bars LTE

Alright hotel. Not the best for the price but it was fine. Right in centre of town which is useful. Hot showers after they had to fix something upstairs. Booked on booking.com using my genius discount. Paid 25usd inc tax - originally booked a twin room but they didn’t have it so they gave us a triple room. Got free breakfast which was quite good as part of booking.com but available for 3usd otherwise. Would personally just go out in town and find breakfast instead of buying it from hotel - it is delivered to your room. Balcony to store bicycles and railing to chain them to.

Logging road with entrance at this mark. I slept here on a Saturday, so I don't know if it's still active. The gate was open. A few pull offs as you ascend the mountain. I had a killer view of the mountains and a glimpse of the north ocean. I would only recommend vehicles and tents. I would not bring an RV or trailer up here. I can't speak for the weekday traffic, but for one night, it was great.

Nice spot overlooking the lake.
A long pull out dirt road from the road coming from sequoia national park. You are shielded from the road a little bit, but you still hear it. Not too much traffic at night though.
There were 4 other vans parking with us.
There are no 'no parking' signs. Some stretches are flat, but not everywhere.

I think the poster is referring to an unmarked road about 1/4 mile before the BLM sign. Quite hard to spot at night. It looked like there were some spots there. The road at the actual marked trailhead didn’t have much — we just pulled over the one dirt pullout to crash for the night night as it was late

Don't go down if you're worried about scratches (pinstripes) on your vehicle. Went down in a Ford Econoline (non-dually) 4x4 van and picked up a few pinstripes. Doesn't bother us, but ours is a 18 year old van. Nice spot by the little river / creek. Fire ring and a little pool area to swim. We did not need 4x4, but it was a little rough, and with inclement weather, I could see needing it to get back out.
