Very nice place, something like an hotel or complex is under construction but we camped at the point of the little peninsula. Beautiful view of the lake and very cold in this days. We were three people, a cute dog, one car and one tent 😊

We got here, but it was all closed up - no information on their website or anywhere we could find to suggest it was closed until high season (if that is the case). Also tried calling the number on their site, but it said the number wasn’t recognised. A real shame as we were looking forward to staying here. The owners really must clarify when they are open as it was very disheartening to arrive here after a tough day’s cycling in the rain.

No problem, we stayed one night with many others campervans. Even the WiFi was on the edge of parking lot.

There are many camping options at side tracks along the paved Lovell Canyon Road. You will meet other campers but there is a lot of space, so it is very quiet.

It's open. Lots of people here. Nice park. And at 15 USD - once the old discount is applied - an absolutely killer deal for this part of the world.

Friendly staffed and well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and had a good lunch at St Raphael. You can take a tuk-tuk for 20-30 Pz. Than you can do some Oxxo-shopping as well.

Near Natchitoches. In nature surroundings ist this beautiful park, with large sites, immaculate restrroms and laundry and good wifi. Now only a few spaces are taken. Large trees for shade in summer.

Good spot. Only one car and our own for overnight stay. almost no traffic and now noise during low season in november.

Trash bins everywhere and a small potable water station. Just for drinking on the spot.

We had a great clear sky night, bit no sleep at this altitude but morning whow what a sunrise and totally alone on glacier.... Honestly the glacier its bit off after few in patagonia but the road thru is worth it... Awesom ride

Hotel near the road but if you want a quiet room , the ones behind are ok . We paid 28000 pesos for 2 persons. You can eat at the restaurant for 12000 pesos per person.

We had a really quiet night. We arrived late in the evening and in the morning we visited the scuptures. good stop after crossing the border from Tacna

One of the best ceviches I've ever had. Corvina and octopus. A little expensive for our wallet but totally worth it! The owners are very welcoming and they fish and cook themselves. very nice little town.

We left our campervan here for 3 days without issues. 20 000kip/24h.

Wanted to charge us 500 L, so we kept on.
Stayed on the opposite side of the open beach area in the road. is a fenced area. the neighbours are related to the owner and allowed us to stay and put a tent.

We passed a quiet night in our RTT in the nice grassy area below the pool. Clean ablutions, hot shower, flush toilet. Can use well-stocked kitchen and lounge area in the hostel and the bar/pool area. The restaurant is closed for renovation so currently no food onsite. There are 4 large, friendly dogs living onsite. Paid 80r for two people. Free wifi but slow.

Fantastic shop, unbelievable to find such nice selection in a dusty small town. And the prices are actually not so bad.
The place is well stock and looks like a fancy airport duty free shop.

Next to the convenience shop there’s a water tap. Loud music during the weekend!
But it’s free!

3000 for menu del día. starter, main, a little dessert and bread. pretty good. recommended by a local and it was busy with locals at lunch. friendly staff.

Pequeño parque con área de juegos para niños. Noche tranquila, un poco ruidoso antes de las 10pm. No Wi-Fi ni ningún otro servicio, parece seguro aunque hay varias personas ebrias rondando el parque toda la noche, parecían sospechosos viendo nuestra Kombi pero nada nos pasó.

Small park with a playground for kids. Nice night just a bit noisy before 10pm. No Wi-Fi or any amenities, looks safe but be careful, some drunk people walking around our Kombi all night. Nothing happen to us.

This place is owned by a very friendly couple (Francy and Elkin) that lives in town (Jardin). They're here most of the time in the mornings, but they can be reached through WhatsApp: +57 300 620 31 20 should you miss them.

The place to put a vehicle is rather small and is also used as a parking lot for people in the cabañas. But you'll be right next to the shelter, kitchen and bathroom.

The whole terrain is well tended and looks like a garden that receives a lot of love. There are bird feeding stations here and there and there are many exotic birds.

They recommended the coffee tour at Finca Clara in Verdun and patiently explained how to get there by bus. (Added the tour as a tourist attraction on ioverlander.)

We came in for one night, stayed three. Paid 15,000 COP per person per night (110 V electricity included).

BTW: At one point in time, there was a volunteer who spoke English. The couple speaks Spanish.

Well stocked little bicycle shop. Ahmed is a good mechanic and sells and fixes everything you need. From bleeding Shimano disc brakes with the proper Shimano mineral oil to fixing spokes.

Beautiful Pinguinera. Still free. We liked it better than Punta Tombo, less tourists and friendly, informative guardaparque. At the moment you can see a lot of young ones, only few hours to days old. Lovely.

Gate was closed (chained), and nobody seemed to be around. We asked the neighbors and they had no idea where the owners were. It seems they come and go to the farm with no exact schedule.

Great place. Super friendly. Drive through the gate at Santa Mónica road and turn right. Walk in to the reception/restaurant and say hello. 😁 220V electricity, hot showers, toilets, fast wifi and grassy campround. $5 per night. Kids free. 👍

This location is so peaceful, tranquil& beautiful right on the river!!! Excellent spot for a campfire!! The only bummer is, we had to clean up a LOT of fisherman and hunter trash and cigarette butts!! 😡 Now the place is gorgeous, with level parking.

great place to stay! the house is really cozy and warm, like a sort of chalet. Really big, with living room, hammocks and place to relax. Victor, the owner, is very kind and humble. The price is $16 pp for a dorm and $20 pp for a matrimonial. We negociated $15 pp for a matrimonial in the end as it was low season and not many tourists and we knew we could get this price in another hostel in the village. All rooms have private bathroom. The price includes breakfast and dinner. Food was good. They offer vegetarian option. They are very nice and kind people. There is a big garden and a nice view on the canyon. Place for cars and tents. The garden is really big!
There's a football field, some equipment for gym and a sauna, swimming pool and Turkish bath for an additional $3 pp. The bed was comfortable and super warm. Warm shower.
I really recommend this place!
There is water for free and they do snacks for lunch.

Spent one night here, got here early afternoon and there were just few surfers.
Mosquito/sand flies situation was quite bad, we went back to town and came back just to sleep but in the morning we had to leave as it was almost impossible for us to stay outside the van.
