Got our short school bus rim replaced here they were extremely helpful. They let us stay the night in their parking lot when they were unable to get all the parts needed that day. |

Several nice campsites in a lovely Aspen grove along a dirt road off of Sherwin Creek Road towards the airport. The dirt road is narrow and a little rough, but 4WD and high clearance aren’t a must, just go slow. Beautiful sunrise views over the lake and mountains. |

For sites along the road this is the most open area and explorable. the rest are kind of tucked in and smaller. 4x4 is required and some ground clearance. shallow water crossings as well. |

Here starts boats tours to Aguateca, crater Azur, Ceibal or las Pilas. Lazaro is a fantastic guide., Very reliable and honest. We did Aguateca one day and the second morning crater Azul and rio Negro. Both were fantastic , saw crocs, terapins, birds and swam in incredible clear and blue water. Price 700 for 2 as a private group, 150 pp if more than 5. If you are not afraid of mosquitoes you can stay here too- next to the river, safe and fairly level. Enough space for a few campers. His number is +50232143613. |

Hours are now 9-5:30, last shower is at 5:15. $3 for 8 minutes as described. Half of the women's showers were out of order, but none of the open ones were taken. Floor was a little muddy, but overall worth the $3! |
