Not your average aquatic center!! This is essentially an indoor water park with a big outdoor swimming pool. As others have mentioned, it’s $4.50 for a day pass which allows you to use the showers in the locker room and any of the pools. For $9 my boyfriend and I spent a relaxing afternoon in the lazy river AND got hot, private, showers. It’s quite a high price if you’re just showering but give yourself a relaxing afternoon or wait until the 1/2 off after 7!

Awesome clean shower with a sink and toilet for $13. They give you a towel and wash cloth and the shower has some foam soap dispensers. They have laundry machines too. This was my first truck stop shower and I am afraid I might be spoiled now because it was so clean and nice. They have 5 private shower stalls. We were there on Saturday evening around 7pm and there was no wait.

We looked at this spot, but it’s so tight with an iKamper that the ladder would have been on the road. There are only a couple spots to pull off on, but the place is awesome.

Lots of parking for multiple rvs. Maximum 2 nights

Big gas station with security, restaurant, drugstore and 24 h laundry. You won’t need to pay for the bath if you fill up the car.

Small RV parking with big spots and firepits. Self check-in, only 15 per night. We were able to find spot on busy Saturday night. Plenty of spots were empty. Good Verizon reception.

Spend a night there, 200 for two with access to outside shower, bathroom and the pool. There a restaurant on site and some tienda in the city close by. Pet frendly. The only problem was that at 10:30pm a group of local guys came with big music and party… not a good place to have a good night rest. Also the google map directions are wrong. Ask around to found the right place.

quiet, out of the noise, no isues free road side with no facilities other than grass ....cow type !

We camped back into the pines to seclude ourselves as much as possible from other campers. The trees border large meadows and at night the Elk sing. We put out trail cams and recorded 3 or 4 cows with a calf. Plenty of firewood and you can usually find a fire pit. WiFi is spotty, but can be found closer to the meadows.
We hear coyotes or wolves ever time we camp there so watch your small dogs.

Grassaerea to camp on is Part of the Staffquartier: very noisy at night due to a huge Generator running half night long. Staff work long in the evening and starts early to be loud. For Dinner they showed us a menue with Tsh- prices. Then they charged in Dollars. When we asked to pay in Schilling they would calculate the changing-rate again. Very strange behavior... Not recomandable.

I stayed here from 08/07/21 to 08/17/21. This park is occasionally visited by the police but I never once had a problem. It does have activity in the late evening from youth gatherings to couples looking for privacy. There are portable washrooms at the baseball diamond close by.

Didn't camp exactly at the spot because of wind. But there's a lot of spots in the area.

Shady cluster of trees on the dry river bank in a fairly barren, area. Level, with nice shady sites. Several fire pits.

Little dirt road that’s a loop. Good place to get some sleep or rest. Not much traffic on road at night so it is quiets.

The people charging for entry weren’t very friendly, but ok. Asked for $150 but negotiated down to $100 for a couple. Didn’t charge us for use of a palapa next to where we parked. A few level spots but much of the parking lot was not level. No telcel service. Water rushing this time of year so we only found one calm place about knee deep to sit in the river. It’s close to the parking lot along the sidewalk, on the way to the caves. One pool open now. The restaurant was closed. Other guests hanging out in the pool and park were all friendly. 3 friendly dogs. Night guard and no problems at night.

Garrafón now $11, with cleaning service. Also sells local honey, cheese and longaniza.

This is the cheapest option to stay in the thousand islands area. You pay $6.80 for parking and it’s good until 11am the following day. Washrooms are open 730am-4:30pm after that there is a pit toilet further down the path by the Otentiks. There are showers but the sign says it’s only for Otentik campers and there is a code on the door. No tents allowed but you can park overnight if you pay the fee. A nice quiet place to sleep and a beautiful picnic area.

Loves travel/truck stop. Has gas / diesel etc. slept here without any issues.
It’s a little loud because of the trucks but fine for a quick stop and some rest.

Great place by the water. We were alone. It is part of the Lonesomehurst Campground but before arriving to the main area, turn right on Fs 167J then keep left onto Fs 167 Ja. It’s a short distance from Denny Creek Rd. What keeps everyone out is the closed gate. People think you can’t go in. However, the small sign reads “close gate after entering”. Lots of room. Road in is a rutted two track.

Flagstaff road is off Highway 287. Enter near Hatchet Resort. It’s 17 miles of easy gravel driving with lots of places to wild camp. We stayed two nights at Lily Lake. Beautiful meadow, mountains and lots of wildflowers. Only saw a few vehicles during our stay.

Campsite with electricity 30€ / night (per a car, as many persons as you wish). Tent site 15€ / night. Free use of rowing boats & firewood available. Sauna as well.

Amazing spot by a lake! Toilet, free firewood, sandy beach - perfect for relaxing. Lots of Finns camping during the summer, though, and locals swimming. Look for Kellinniemi sign by the tar road and then it’s a sandy road leading there, no 4x4 needed.

the campground only allows people in tents and you cannot sleep in your van. It is now very clearly posted that the showers are for campers only. the camp host said it was greatly stressed to her to NOT allow non-campers to use the showers. you can no longer pay just $2 for shower.

Steps from beautiful white sand beach. Enough flat ground for 2-3 Westfalia. Road in is a bit tricky to find.
