This is not actually in the Bonny State rec area but just outside the republican State rec area but it's obviously serviced. Huge area to park in and large enough to turn around. Concrete maintained out house will TP. We got 2 bars of LTE. Super quiet. There's a fire or here too. There a a few not to severe ruts in the road to get here but beyond here there are two deeper sets. |

Good place to visit the city. Easy to get in and to get out. Yes, it could be noisy, but it is doable. The places at the sea are the worst.

Very nice place to camp. Yes mosquitoes are very present even mid-September. We spoke with locals, they confirm that there are no problems camping. they use the location as an access to the beach or as a roundabout.

We slept 3 nights in the parking lot of the Mirador del Parque. Super quiet, there is 1 electrical outlet to plug in the motorhome and 1 tap with hose to load water. There is also free internet.

Good place to camp or park your van. Lots of cow patties, and a bit exposed, so could be windy. I had the place to myself. In the morning I could hear the nearby construction. |

It was an awesome place to stay. Nobody else around. Got here early enough that we were able to hike the ski area trails. We went all the way to the peak where the Doppler radar is. Fabulous views. Even were able to use the restrooms in the lodge while it was open. |

Simple RV and tenting park on the shores of Wabigoon Lake. Stopped here because HWY 17 was closed all day due to a collision. The couple that operate the park are nice. Facilities (shower and toilet) are quite old and dated, but clean enough. Paid $25 cash for a tent site for our campervan (no site services), which provided a great view of the lake. Sign in bathroom says sink water must be boiled before drinking - not sure about RV spot water hookups (we brought our own water). A great hiking trail across the parking lot - it’s not quite 2 miles, is flat and goes through forest and marsh areas in a big loop. That was an enjoyable find. This park is nothing special, but certainly better than spending even more hours sitting in traffic on a closed freeway! I’d stay here again. |

These are the correct coordinates of the Park. The overnight stay is for free, you only have to register for your own safety ( police patrols) very helpfull security, toilets are available. Various barbecue areas or ovens are available. Lots of mosquitos and frogs in Summer. |

Stayed one night with a 27 feet RV. Two other RVs already there when we arrived just after the bridge. So we kept going for 200 m and found a big quite flat area. We were alone all night. The gravel road is really used by the locals, so expect some traffic even dirt bikes and ATV, even in the middle of the night but hey it is free..:) |

As others have said, pretty spacious pull out, amazing view, where cops don't seem to mind your presence (multiple drove past while I was here and gave no trouble). That being said it does seem to be a popular place,, three rigs, myself tent camping, and a car stayed overnight. Along with that a half a dozen or so folks stopped by to check out the sunset, all good people, but definitely something to keep in mind if solitude is your goal. Good service, good distance to town, lots of road noise. |

Decided to check this place out. $41 per night. No water hookup. No campfires. Dump station on site. Potable water available from the hose on the side of the office. We didn’t think it was worth $41. Rather boondock and spend the money on something else. |

a mostly gravel park and ride that moreso resembles a park entrance. its located near a highway so there is noise, whether or not that'd a bad thing is up to you. state police said it's okay to overnight in. haven't pushed more than one night, but have returned successfully. lots of people were there on a nice day, but it has been dead during rainstorms. please be respectful. pet friendly, 4g, :) |
