As described 250 pesos for our 21 foot van. This is a small slice of the Netherlands, clean orderly and with strong WiFi and the best toilets: sparklingly clean with seats toilet paper and a spare roll! The owners live under the main palapa but leave you entirely alone. The swimming in front of the campground is superb. An oasis.
The eight mile access road from the highway is a washboarded mess and even aired down (!) we took it very slow. In rainy season I’d be worried. In dry season tour buses visit the fishing village so it’s not at all difficult, just uncomfortable. April 2022.

Camped for two days. Toilets and cold showers available. Beautiful place right of the entrance for camping. Park closes later at friday/saturday and people are likely to hang around in the weekends.

I should make a note that this will not fit Rv/Big rigs. The spots are just big enough for my 170 sprinter.

Stayed here one night, located next to an already free garage that we do not fit in due to our height. No other overnight campers, but felt safe. Walking distance to visitors center, shops, and the historic row. Smaller vans only. Free public restroom right next door. Great Verizon signal.

Gorgeous. Loved it so much we stayed a whole week, and we’re usually on the move. Made it fine with our 2WD Sprinter van. Just keep your momentum up and don’t slow down. Rangers seem okay with dogs off leash too!

In the far NW corner of a large field, somewhat hidden from the (quiet) road by trees. One building nearby which is marked as a restaurant in Google, but no one around. Very quiet at night. Enter field from (37.0302, 43.6965). More fields along this road. Drone circling above.

very nice clearing in the woods, down a little dirt road so it's more private. a hiking trail passes by but I only saw one group. there's a small pond and a couple of swampy areas but overall really beautiful and the bugs weren't too bad. good T-Mobile cell signal

Passamos aqui três dias e duas noites.

Great spot for water. Couldn't get our MH close enough to fill as we had our "toad" on, but it's definitely doable with a long hose.

Lovely beach! During weekend some locals came for fishing and to collect mussels, but still enough space for a private spot. Easy access via a gravel road in good condition doable for any car.

driving a 2wd car onto the sand I was so nervous I'd get stuck, especially after seeing a big RV get stuck but I stayed on the more packed rocky sand areas and was just fine. it was so windy I had to tie my tent to my hub caps. the water level was so low when I tried to swimming I stepped in and grey clay enveloped my legs all the way to my thighs and I had to army crawl out.

We stayed at the upper campsite for two nights and it was amazing. The way up is longer than expected and we agree, definitely only for people with 4x4 experience or a sense of adventure.
We were all by ourselves, there were two fellow iOverlanders at the lower camp.

Once you are up there, it’s great. The sites are situated at the “mouth” of the crater. Drop toilets are available and at least one site with an intact roof + wall for wind protection.

We hiked to the rim of the crater. The path is quite overgrown. At one point you can choose between two paths. The left one was in better shape (we did a round trip).

Nice, sandy camp spots just off of Firehole Road, there's multiple spots for passenger sized vehicles. Does look like a bit of a party spot for Rock Springs area, we had some with loud music from midnight-3am when they left. There (were) also beer cans peppered throughout the area. I will camp further away from the paved road next time.
2-3 bars Verizon.

Stayed one night along the long beach front! Plenty of parking options. Decent spot. No facilities outside of the businesses except a porta potty at the far north end. Quite a bit of a ghost town and a little eerie. Some families were on the beach though the majority of businesses were closed and the residential buildings appeared abandoned. We stayed across Camotitos and felt safe! We ate there, but they didn’t share their wifi with us. Whatevs

Came for two nights and stayed seven! This is a very comfortable camp. Level parking, hot showers, fast wifi, and kind hosts! The property is landscaped and manicured... so pretty! Maria loves cats and has 18 of them that have been rescued and live onsite. there is potable water with a long hose that makes filling tanks easy. You do need to message ahead do that they will open the gate for you. It is a green gate with no sign and no bell... FYI... there are two green gates on this access road, it is the 2nd gate. Price was $15 a night for a van with two people. our van is 23 feet long and 10 feet high... we entered with no issues. They also arranged a day tour to the city, which was great! we highly recommend this place!
