Great spot to camp near the lake and walk over to Guatemala for some different beers and Rum!
Managed to get the spot for 100pesos, they might try to charge 150 if you are a bigger rig.

Really big rigs can enter going towards the water and back around to the camp spot

This is a wonderful place to overnight. Quiet and close to La Fortuna. Good also to teach with big rigs. Restrooms clean with cold water. A lot of animals to see around. Highly recommended.

Very good car wash that can handle trucks as well.
We paid PYG 100.000 for our Unimog (only outside) and they worked 40 minutes on it (mostly 1 person but sometimes 2)

Good place to stay close by the city centre. German speaks English and is very help full. He helped us with a mechanic and to buy some new parts for our car. The place is not really nice but you have WiFi and a toilet so it’s ok.

Large grassy area, that serves as parking lot for visitors of the little museum and church. Surrounded by fields, next to a hill with viewpoint at the top. Far enough from the road and the small village to be really quiet. Friendly local people that passed by, told us no problem to spend the night here. The side road to this place is paved almost all the way. At arrival, some cows were grazing around us. One of the few clean places in Bolivia, please keep it that way!

Stayed at Goosenecks State Park and Valley of the Gods, stopped in for water. Paid $1.06 for 30 gal water. You pay inside, they give you a key to unlock spigot.

It is a beautiful place, full of surf vibes, however it can NOT be sold, you need a permit, we were going to stay for a week and a half because the place is beautiful but around the 6th the tourist manager said that the mobile homes were bad image, that we had been going for a long time and that we would surely use the bathroom in the street and although we explained that everyone brought their own bathroom, he did not care and he ran us away. People say that in the municipality of Colotepec the authority always behaves like this.

spent 3 nights here. best spot in Tulum. the breeze makes all the difference. there is an oxxo 250m away. be mindful if its breezy, you will have to wash salt spray off van later but its worth it to stay cool at night. we slept with door open, totally safe.

Good place to camp with a tent or a camper van. If you can make it between two hills you'll find a flat spot to put your tents and it's sheltered from the wind. You'll need most likely 4x4 to get there. Great view of sunset and sunrise and the stars.

This is a dispersed drying camping site. It is managed by the Nantahala National Forest. There is a sign that asks to camp only in designated areas and the campsites are numbered. The sites are large and reasonably set apart. They are clean. PLEASE KEEP THEM CLEAN. You are right on the river and it is a noisy river. It is very peaceful and beautiful.

Beautiful spot, stayed 4 weekday nights on the bay side parking lot. Bathrooms were still being renovated but they had portapottys. Also there were a couple showers on the ocean side to rinse off quickly after swimming. Can walk down the beach miles, this is a very cool spot.
