mrhvdm2010 | Large grassy area, that serves as parking lot for visitors of the little museum and church. Surrounded by fields, next to a hill with viewpoint at the top. Far enough from the road and the small village to be really quiet. Friendly local people that passed by, told us no problem to spend the night here. The side road to this place is paved almost all the way. At arrival, some cows were grazing around us. One of the few clean places in Bolivia, please keep it that way! |

It is a beautiful place, full of surf vibes, however it can NOT be sold, you need a permit, we were going to stay for a week and a half because the place is beautiful but around the 6th the tourist manager said that the mobile homes were bad image, that we had been going for a long time and that we would surely use the bathroom in the street and although we explained that everyone brought their own bathroom, he did not care and he ran us away. People say that in the municipality of Colotepec the authority always behaves like this. |

cincas | Good place to camp with a tent or a camper van. If you can make it between two hills you'll find a flat spot to put your tents and it's sheltered from the wind. You'll need most likely 4x4 to get there. Great view of sunset and sunrise and the stars. |

winninghamclan | This is a dispersed drying camping site. It is managed by the Nantahala National Forest. There is a sign that asks to camp only in designated areas and the campsites are numbered. The sites are large and reasonably set apart. They are clean. PLEASE KEEP THEM CLEAN. You are right on the river and it is a noisy river. It is very peaceful and beautiful. |
