Adriaan&Isabelle | We did forget to stamp out. It's a hassle: you will need to park your car in the US (at an outrageous rate), go back to migracion (next to banjercito), get stamped out, enter Mexico and use the pedestrian route to enter the US again - in all a hike all around two blocks. USD 6 charge (cash or credit) per visa holding person for an I-94 of 180 days. |

shelbey.wiggins | Perfect for parking during the day for exploring Fredericksburg. If you’re in a small rig and can fit in one parking spot then probably great for overnight aside from the passing cars on the street. I have a full sized skoolie and didn’t feel right parking sideways and taking four spots all night so I moved over onto an empty street across from HEB.. stayed there two nights and it was much more quiet. |

ourcrazelife | Pocahontas Mounds Rest Area is situated between the 2 lanes of the highway. It is a historical landmark so it has 24 hr security. There are clean bathrooms. Pets allowed. Room for 5 large rigs. From website: This rectangular platform mound, 175 feet across at the base and about 22 feet high, was built and used during the Mississippian period, between 1000 and 1300 A.D. Remains of a mud-plastered log-post building have been found atop the mound. This structure was used as a ceremonial temple or as a residence of a chief. An extensive former village area surrounds the mound. The site has been incorporated into a roadside park. |

jd.herrera415 | There were at least 4 or 5 large spaces up this road. We chose one in between a couple trees for some privacy. Few cars drove by and we had good cell service - att & verizon. Took us 9 minutes to drive to Kanab this morning. |

elizabethandursula | Next to the train tracks at the end of Floyd St in town. Quarters for water. Seems to be popular with local farmers. Not sure what the rate is. It seems potable (the only signs say “remember: potable water in a dirty tank means non potable water”). There is an overhead hose but it’s end is cut off—no threads—and there is no obvious hook up for an RV hose. |

rstackon | Small. Good for tent or car camping. One vault toilet. Down in a valley so it doesn’t have much scenery and not maintained real well. Toilet wasn’t too bad for what it is. Firewood for sale using honor system. We didn’t stay here because there was no way we’d get our teardrop in a space. We boondocked further up the road, and were glad we did. Much nicer, and we could still drive down to use the toilet at the campground. |
