Beautiful open place in the woods, not far from the road, but isolated and sunny. Small track

They have up to four spots for RVs. Just check in at the bar and they'll tell you where to park. Just enjoy a drink or two and/or a meal. Sundays they have a nice carvery in the afternoon for only 9quid. Nice staff. Wifi in pub, bathrooms not open all night but you can dump cassettes in the men's room. Fresh water is available. 4G signal. Quiet at night. Con: parking is sloping so bring levelers!

Good Campsite with clean ablutions. Shade under trees and shelter at each campsite. Pizzas are delicious and Wifi reaches some campsites (those close to the bar). Still 140 Pula per person.

Established campsite with mainly longterm campers and space for tents and other campers. Lovely placed on a Rhine-island close to Ginsheim-Gustavsburg. Mainz can be easily reached by car,bike or bus/train within couple of minutes. We paid 20€ for one night, a pickup incl popup-cabin and two adults. Owner is very relaxed. I can recommend this place

Big machines, nice staff, open 8 am to 7pm daily. Sadly not a lot of parking except on the streets. 4.50 wash; 1 for 30 minutes dry.

Huge park for RVs, but there is some space for tent as well, slept one night before the UK ferry.

To the North of Puno, follow the gravel road along the railroad track until it turns into a grassy track towards the hamlet. There you can park next to a stone wall and still leave room for an unlikely vehicle to pass by. Absolutely quiet, perfect to pass the night before an excursion to the floatng islands of Uros, for example (see entry for Yordy)

A nice small Hostel direkt on the Beach Siarat.
The people are friendly,the House is Clean and the shower is warm. Im Here with motorcycle,the motorcycle can stay Inside the Hostel. I paid 10 € at night includet breakfast and Tee Time.

Very nice spot. Sundawn on the lake is beautiful. Planted our tent here and it was very quiet. Close to downtown and the Arboretum, about 10min by foot.

Not a proper service centre, but I was told that both the other places have closed down. Johnny did a minor repair job on the vehicle’s suspension, but he seemed to try and do a good job.

Fantastic spot near the road, not very noisy except for wind and waves.
In the morning there are a lot of windsurfers. Don't feed the ducks!
At few hundred metres there's a bar.

Very quiet nobody in low season. There is a trash can, no toilet or shower. beautiful view of the beach to walk alone in the morning.

Was closed on public holidays. After the holidays I could get an SIM card here. Very helpful people there. The actual tarif is 45GB for 30 days which costs 4.000.000 Rial.

Nice place, the owners speak German French and Spanish. toilets and shower very clean. But very expensive to overnight (25$ pn for 2).

A little area behind the trees by the river. The beautiful mountains around. Silence. Good Magti 4G internet coverage. Some cows and pigs.

They filled our Chilean bottle. 5kg for 550 UYU.

Good place to sleep, we had a quiet night.

The Northbound dump station was full (overflowing), so we took the next exit towards southbound.
Everything worked well.
It is located at the very end. Look for the signs DUMP + logo.

Very neat well maintained campsite. The ablutions are clean. To be recommended.

Arrived after dark as well and parked outside the gate. Perhaps I misunderstood the comments and you can park inside the gate. It’s a great spot and town is very tranquilo and safe however I had the misfortune of the cops knocking on my window at 10:30 pm. They just looked at my passport and left. No problems but never a great way to get a good nights sleep. That aside I still recommend the place.

Red water spigot at Maverick, pump # 1, on the freeway side of the pump.

Quiet place is the parking spot in the curry village. All campgrounds were full. We stand here 1 night.

Nice place, we took one of the little road, a little bit wet, small rig could go there. Right under the highway. Good spot if you want to fish your lunch! 😉

Giant gravel area. Can easily accommodate numerous big rigs. We drive all the way down the road and every spot was taken so we turned around and stayed here instead. Easy and convenient. Some unhitched. Lots of Class As. Great views.

I was told there were showers here, drove by and the sign said ‘showers’ but I do not know the fee.
