shaderfx | Nice campground. Plenty of space but only a few spots. Still costs $10 or $25 for full hookup. Envelopes at the entrance but they were out when I got here. Nice little river next to the campground.
Very loud train track next to the campground where trains honk there horns. |

Astro | Pretty big area. Two wheel drive is fine. Theres a lot of shooting debris and clay pigeon pieces. It's right off the road but traffic hasn't been an issue. The quarry down the road is used for target practice, so we were woken up early by a dozen early gunshots, but quiet otherwise. Nice place for a night or a weekend, though. There's a fire ring and a few flat camp spots for tents and a larger lot for larger rigs. |

The Pack Track | Just next to archway over road. Hidden down behind trees. Made us fried eggs with salad and bread, reasonable prices. Young boy speaks English. |

Moverser | Vimos este gran parking y varios carros de policía y de idioma preguntarles si podíamos quedarnos ya que la opción del Walmart no nos gustó, no sentimos que sea una zona segura.
We saw this large parking lot and several police and language cars asking if we could stay since we didn't like the Walmart option, we didn't feel it was a safe area.

kenandsarah.ca | We looked at the higher up site but didn’t make it all the way up to the upper flat area because the road is very badly rutted. We could of made it as we have high clearance 4x4 but decided to stay by pond (earthen dam) behind bushes near the lower site. A fair bit of garbage around but site was ok for a night. |

strayahead.com | Beautiful and calm place to camp, with a big field and great view to the town below. With a small tent, it's not really seen by cars passing on the street, that is about 50 meters away. |

unvelosolex | +/- 300m from the road. Nice spot with an access for fishermen to the lake + a hidden space perfect for camping. Please note road is currently not accessible by car because rocks have fallen and block the access at +/-100m from the road. You can go through by foot or with bicycles. No one here - even on weekends. You can hear the road but not too much. 4g signal okay. |

becca.gomez31 | Wouldn’t recommend staying at this one, very noisy, no RV spots and saw a trucker too large for lot hit a van parked by the back shaded area and take off, I was close by because those are the best more private spots but apparently dangerous. |

Atomic Pod | Google Maps took us first to a building in town under renovation. Another RV was also there and the driver was puzzling over the location like we were. From that location, we went back to iOverland, and this time, Google Maps took us to the correct location. The old Visitor’s Center is great. You can see the water. It’s very quiet, and there is lots of space and grass. If you’re in a tent, you could probably set up behind the building and no one would see you. |

b271271 | Cidery and apple orchards. We came to taste the wonderful Cider made on site and walked around the orchard. We did not stay over night, but the owner is very friendly and said she may allow over night parking. Well maintained dirt road off the main road. Easy access with our 27ft motorhome. Call Denise (the owner) to ask about over night parking 902-769-2169. Very |

olafontrip | An old gravel road to Lucky Shot Gold Mine. Wonderful valley. Beautiful parking spaces on the slopes after a few hundred meters off the road. We stood further up in the valley because they were occupied. Piste only for 5WD with ground clearance, short sections very muddy and deep ruts. very calm. |

canamonde | Nice camping site in a vast grassy field. Self serve and you deposit money in a locked box: 10$ or 15$ if you use electricity. Toilets are clean, there is potable water from a hose and 4 outlet electricity at every site, pic nic tables, garbage/recycling disposal. It is located about 500m from the highway, 500m from the railroad track and 500m from the salt factory. We slept in a tent and we didn't hear any noise from the factory, the highway was far enough, not too noisy, trains were noisy but only 2 did pass while we were sleeping. Chaplin is a very quiet village, it had a feel of a ghost town. Highly recommended for a one night stay. |
