It’s one spot around end of the WADBR section 4. Chelan doesn’t have a good spot, so find here for a night. It has a rock fire ring, currently in fire ban. A little dusty, but good view and quiet.

good spot in the mountains. There were some cars passing by in the morning as well hikers and bikers. Good road leading up there.

The mapped location is no longer accessible, but you can camp just on the other side of the curve. Not the flattest spot, but it’ll do for a night. Stopped here the night before driving out to Gimli Ridge (the drive there was possible in our 19’ dodge van, but watch your breaks on the way down!)

Really not a good spot. One way, quite tight, and no pull over as the sides are all private property - really no place to camp here (unless you have a 4wd with very high clearance and can make it onto the rock beach)

The road is close to the South and East camps. But the road to West is open, and there are some dispersed spot that are not at the campground. I camped on the SW corner near the beach (there was already a fire ring built).
bugs are bad at night but not in the morning. Sunset was minimal, but got a wonderful Sunrise over the reservoir. Reservoir seemed a little low (but 1st time here). Great camp. Wild Horses charged down the hill to get some water and a bath after sunset... what a rush! Beautiful.

Very small parking lot in residential area next to community garden. Portable toilette in summer. Not suited for big campers. No water. Good for one night, however I don’t recommend weekends since parking fills up quickly with gardeners.

5 Nat’l Forrest sites along Hwy 55 - $15 + $8 for add’tl vehicles. Sites 2 & 3 are on the river - beautiful spot! Pit toilet. Road noise is close, but a fan drowned out most of it.

Nice, clean well kept parking lot. Road beside had regular flow of traffic but very quiet at night. Proper washrooms close to the old closed restaurant, open all night. Easy access to Reversing Rapids

Huge sno-park lot. Quiet with a pit toilet if needed. Had a weak but usable T-Mobile signal.

A little road noise (park is adjacent to highway 20) but no big deal. Bathrooms not great just ok.

Empty lot the night I stayed. A single port-a-potty was accessible. Pretty quiet throughout the night, but there were a few cars that drove across the road early in the morning and parked in the lot

Spacious gravel storage 200 m off Highway 13.
We struggled finding natural public land on our drive east to spend the night. It's either agriculture or oil rig properties all over the place.
So we chose this gravel storage area.
No signs on the entrance; farmers who passed by on the gravel road didn't bother. Had a quiet night.
Not suited for a longer stay or to set up a lot of camping gear, obviously.

Nice established campground with about 60 or so RV sites and looks like about 100 primitive campsites they are 12 bucks for out of state. Nice place with showers. Make sure you bring quarters for the showers. It’s right next to the highway so it’s not very quiet but it’s good enough for a stay through night

Camping loop near Agassiz NWR. Shady and spread apart, all sites have metal fire rings but it looks like no one has been here for awhile since all sites have high grasses and most of the fire pit / grills have never been used! We did see one other van. Definitely drive through the refuge, visit the visitor center/ headquarters and borrow the key to open the fire tower and climb the 9 flights of metal stairs. Amazing views!

Arrived around 10pm. No signs preventing parking (except in a few places, bus stop, loading zones, etc). Fish Ladder bathrooms were rather clean, free, & accessible--open 7am-9pm. Cool to see the salmon and sea lions in the morning too. No sketchy people around, no cops. Lots of loud traffic in the a.m., none at night. Easy to find spots. No room for big rigs but our camper van fit fine, although the spot was a bit narrow.

Old gravel pit that is right above the Alaska Highway. This is a big open area, facing west with some spots having a really nice view.

The place itself can host several of rigs, big rigs included (see access road), some may have privacy. Mostly flat. Tents & Pets friendly. Some fire rings available. No signs mentioning private property of forbidden camping.

Visually isolated from the road. You can still ear trafic from the first available spot. Choosing one of the spots more far away from the road may be more quiet. That being said, there is not that much trafic.

Access: There is a short and rough gravel road (100m long) to access it. A bit steep but not that much. We made it after rain with our 2WD van. High clearance probably needed. RV and big rigs may check by walking first, to ensure it is ok (not a big rig driver myself).

No amenities. 2 bars of AT&T.

Stayed one night in this area. I was a little further inland, across from a school. No issues. There was some early morning hubbub during school drop off, but nothing bothersome.

Found this excellent place on Airbnb. 2 large suites available to rent short or longterm. I stayed 4 days to get some bike work done. Secure parking. Perfect for riders or small trucks/cars.
Place has cafeteria close to everything. Host speaks English and is super helpful.
$20/night.

Awesome community centre with hot showers, a gym, dry and wet saunas. The drop in fee was about $7 but definitely worth it. Free parking for 3 hours.

When my plans changed suddenly on a Saturday morning, this was the only place in the area that had a site available. They book up way in advance but keep a few first come first serve sites available every day. Very clean campground with excellent facilities. Biggest complaint is that they pack so many people into the space, but at the same time, if they didn't they never would've been able to accommodate me at all, so it's a wash. friendly staff. 46$/night for water and electric hookup when I was there. very close to downtown, walkable.

Definitely not rig friendly anymore. We took our 23ft ambulance down it. Ended up staying in a pull out just 0.6k down blush rd. And the view point is 5k in.
