Beautiful and clean place, super zen. The owners are very kind and helpful. We stayed 5 nights and found it hard to leave. 100q per night; clean toilets and warm shower.

Nice flat spot up Thorton Lake Rd (road to the thorton lake trailhead). Wooded and next to a waterfall from Sky Creek and partial view of the mountains. Had good at&t cell service. Road starts of ok with gravel but gets really rough but we made it up in our rear wheel drive van. Lots of pull outs on the way up too!

great location on the beach in Fogo. Note: The campsites have no sewer. only water and electric. the water is somewhat rusty in color, even after running through inline charcoal filter. Sites are close together, but with good views.

Water spigot next to playground in L B Hartz Park. We filled a jug but you could probably reach here from the parking lot with a slightly long hose.

Interesting and fun place. Almost a museum of the old Cisco prior to the Interstate coming through. People are not living in the old buildings. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Great Place to boondock. Closed Nov- April.

High clearance vehicle only or short base to get access to the nice spot. Everything else is in the right of way of a pipe line with rubbish from kid’s party’s.

15 amp site for $32. Clean bathrooms & showers. Laundry room on site. They also have WiFi, but it doesn’t reach everywhere. I have 2 bars of regular cell service in most spots I went in the camp.
I was in a spot (#69) close to the 97, but in my little trailer I didn’t hear any road noise.

Any vehicle (95' 2wd Dodge van) in good weather can make it to the first destination before the sign. Second the awful washboard road but just go slow in some spots and you're fine. Lastly, this is the most spectacular camp spot we've come across so far 4000 miles into our trip.

Clean facilities with friendly staff. Washers $4 a load and dryer $0.25 for three minutes. Wifi is $5 (regardless of facility use). Our clothes were much cleaner leaving this laundromat than the Vitus one.

Great gravel road,, excellent for 2WD vehicles, Many established dispersed camping sites along the road. Road seems only used by ATVs, and not many at that. 2 bars for internet, absolutely no camp fires. Beautiful deep forest sites. Quiet and right between Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore.

Road is in Good shape.. little washboard here and there but no problem to handle.
You’ll pass 3 cattle guards before getting to the pull off.
Nice place, very secluded. Didn’t see anyone out there.

Informal campground. You can choose to donate, but can stay up to 10 days free. 2 bars off AT&T. Did not stay long enough to figure out the system of the sites, but seems like you can park anywhere.

Great stop. Exactly as others listed, “please limit your stay to 6 hours” but no one asked us to leave when we slept for 8hrs. Off the highway and very quiet. Woke up with some other small car campers next to us. Pull-thru area also for long vehicles/trailers. Garbage cans, picnic tables & peekaboo ocean views. Bathrooms and a push button water tap (does not identify if Potable).

Trailhead it’s two old picnic tables. Just off of 19A. No signs saying you can’t park or camp overnight. Little bit of noise being close to highway.

Found no pull-out on this road. Only a dirt road branching, but marked as private property. It’s not a dead-end anymore, it’s open on the SE side. Only place where you can stop without being on the paved area, is near SE entrance, but there is road-workers + machines + a truck trailer. It’s used as storage area for workers on the Alaska Highway.

I’ve passed as I don’t want to park in middle a the road. There is another great spot less than 1 mile going south.

I have stopped here a few times and there is plenty of parking and barely traffic. A nice place to relax and spend the night. These are old truck stops so the occasional big rig pulls in but they are all parked towards the back and seem to keep to themselves.
