We paid $12 a night with Senior Pass. Site 21 was open site right next to pit toilet. Toilet was clean at first, but deteriorated some during our 8 night stay. Was over the Labor Day weekend and campground closed Wednesday after. Nice to be handy to toilet, but did get odorous one night. Lots of dogs, but kept leashed and quiet. Coyotes did yip at night.

Very good place to spent some days. Directly accses to the beautiful beach, where you can walk for hours. Super clean bathrooms with very hot showers. And a lot of space on grassy area. Very good WiFi and very nice owner/manager. We recommmend this place!

It was alright. Kinda too expensive. We payed 35US$ for one night! It’s a clean camping spot but it’s build like a resort kind of so I’d say it’s glamping. It’s right at the sea but the water was horribly warm after a hot day so no chance of cooling off. There was a water tap (idk if it was drinking water) right next to each individual spot and you can get electricity but that wouldve been $55.

We unfortunately ate at the restaurant in the evening because we didn’t get the chance to buy food during the day. Expect to get frozen and heated up food. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good at all either. Maybe that was because we were off season.

there is nicer cheaper places really.

Cemetery had built around this and there is no access to the dead end anymore.

Nice spot overlooking the mountains. There were a few Semi trucks parked here. pretty quiet.

Definitively quiet spot. Drive all the way to the end because men come to cut their wood. Lot of space. Nice view of the bay. GPS coordinates very useful. Look for a pile of wood at the entrance.

Aiken's Creek Recreation Area

What a great spot for free boondocking. Great views, clean cold creek to soak in. Double waterfall, swimming hole near creek outlet. About a dozen spots with tables and fire pits. Plenty of other places that are bare closer to the river. Only saw two other people stay here the 10 days I stayed. A few drive throughs everyday though. Talked to a couple of folks that have been coming to the area for years. They said the campground used to be one of the best in the area pre 1996. Old campground is shut down because they found native artifacts after a flood in the river. Used to have running water and flushing toilets. Spot 13 is the best if you want a table and fire pit. Plenty of shade, next to the creek for cool breezes. And off to the side and more private. Hike/climb a bit up the creek from there, make your way around the giant boulder to get to the water fall and chest high pool. Go down to the river and walk along the rock to the right. Follow the brush line and look for a small clearing with sandy ground to find the large swimming hole in the creek. Very beautiful spots to escape the heat. Please use the bathroom at the campground across the street. It's hard to dig here as the ground is rocky everywhere. I picked up a ton of trash and poop paper. Trash can also be taken to the campground across the street.

Aboriginal managed campground in the banks of Munuruu (king Edward) river. Picnic tables some shade swimming 2km off main road.

Great campsite you use to access Mitchell falls. It’s a 4km hike one way, so you want to leave early!!

3 meadows here on FR207. our stay was in the top of the first meadow before the access road turns a bit rougher. surrounded by rolling hills & crests, perfect open space for enjoying sunrise, sunset, moonrise. will return for fall foliage. Only one other camper first night, up to five after that. nearby hiking on Clark Brook Trail and VT’s Long Trail (varied easy to challenging).

Back again, just as great as ever. Quiet, private and restful.

Everything looks quiet new and clean. 35 minutes for washing (only cold) and 45 minutes for drying. The room is air-conditioned and their is wifi.

Buttersville Campground is an 18.5 acre, state-licensed campground situated on the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan. Lake and beach access with steps down from the campground. Beautiful, wooded setting. Fresh water is available at the campground. Flush toilets and a shower facility are also part of the park's services. All campsites have electricity and a picnic table. Campsites are available May through October, with limited sites available for reservation.

Mason County Campground…5906 W Chauvez Rd, Ludington, MI 49431.     Towering hardwood trees nestle around 56 campsites with electric and water.  Campers have easy access to a centrally located bathhouse.  A tranquil nature path rolls through this impressive landscape and leads to our Picnic Area and Disc Golf Course entrance.

Large flat spot next to the town center. Perfect for big rigs, it is next to a school so expect a lot of children from 12-2pm.

Quiet place on a road travelled only by members of the boat club much much further down the road.

If you need a taste of Americana, this is the place. Skip all the fast food and junk nearby…. step into the past here. Petrified wood outside. Old metal toys, signs and memorabilia inside.
And WOW the food. Affordable and delicious. Real potato chunks in the mashed potato. Hearty American style meatloaf with brown gravy. A green chili cheese crisp that is truly crispy. This place is the bomb.

There is 24h open restroom and water. Quite and safe place.

super nice, helpful guy - my vehicle couldn't fit but he lent me a wrench so I could fix myself. Ordered and bought the parts from him. Speaks many languages.

Nice campground with both shaded campsites that offer some level of privacy, as well as campsites in wide open fields are available. A good selection of designated First Come First Served campsites will give you a chance to get a last minute campsite even on the busiest of weekends. No cell service or WiFi and very limited generator hours are permitted, which can make staying here especially on non-electric sites very challenging.

2 usd per person entry to the waterfalls, and 3 usd per person to camp. Hike to the waterfalls is very nice. Quiet spot and friendly people. Toilets and showers could be cleaner though.

Buen lugar para pasar la noche y visitar la misión. Pueblo muy tranquilo y el punto de venta de las entradas a la misión cuenta con baño público muy limpio.

Pequeño hostel con cabañas. La dueña alemana muy simpática. Las cabañas para 2 o más personas por 25 dólares cuentan con AC, wifi, desayuno y restaurant. Están agrandando el lugar así que en unos meses tendrá muchas más habitaciones.

Great spot! Stayed for one night because we had some rain, otherwise would have stayed longer.
