End of road turnaround by lake. Nice place by lake but there are no obvious paths to the lake. No no-camping signs. Very quiet.

A really nice campground now 26 C$ including firewood
We went the trail. have hiked from the lake. The first section of about 1km which was very bad ... neglected. More an animal path. from the old Mackanzie hwy very good to hike.

beautiful spot right off the highway. there isn't a 'no camping sign' but we only plan to stop and make dinner have a break to let the dog run around off leash because one is around and it's a large green space with shade trees. Highly recommended if you are looking to not get off the beaten path but want space.
There is no facilities here except so garbage bin.
The only real disappointment is in the sleepwalkers who squat but leave the paper behind. Do us all a favor and learn to deal with your own sh$t.

Filled here our propane bottles that we bought in Mexico. For 5 liters we paid 35.0000 Pesos.
Friendly people that didn’t know if the connections would work but they made an effort.

20 sites, 10 are FCFS. Were able to find a spot on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It’s a fine place. All sites seem to have picnic table, metal fire pit & BBQ. Quite sunny. Clean pit toilets. Self pay $5-10/nt.

this campground is currently Crown Land, owned by the government of Canada. we stayed on a Saturday night and there were probably 20+ other campers scattered throughout the park. we selected a site right next to the water, but required considerable leveling, which we accomplished.

the view was excellent. the black flies were medium, but we were mostly inside our Airstream. we overnighted here on our way towards Quebec.

1 bar cell coverage which seemed to work okay

Awesome spots - multiple to select from. Many with fire pit and/or direct access to the river beach. There is a good selection of spots even before getting to the sandy parts. We chose a beautiful one, surrounded by trees, with fire pit and river access. Would always stop here again.

An public outdoor swimming pool with changing rooms and group showers. The showers are not the nicest but clean enough to get yourself clean. There are no private shower cabins, just a group shower.
All of this is free of charge. There are even lifeguards if you want to bring the kids for a swim.

I think everybody and everybody’s mother has the same idea this Labor Day weekend to park and boondock at this site. Plenty of room but there’s a lot of activity which is no problem for a free place to park your rig. I’ve got a 37 foot class A motorhome and I had no trouble finding a spot. A little bit noisy but who cares it’s still fun.

Didn't see any, according to a lady vendor, they're still there, but she couldn't point out the right tree. I guess they're good at hiding :)

They asked for driver's license, padron and TIP, also for triangle, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher. I went to grab our first aid kit and fire extinguisher, don't have the triangle, it was enough. Stamped the TIP and let us drive on.

This camp sits about 25 yards from a boat ramp. Spent the morning sitting lakeside with a coffee. Very private while we spent our 1st night here. Level site that’s sits up off the road. Fire ring. This area has lots of trash so we tried to pick up what we could. Trees and shade. Room for a couple trucks. Plenty for our Jeep and trailer. Some ruts on the way in but not bad. There’s another site next to this one that could accommodate a second party. Both sites have a small incline to get in/out of. Could be slick if muddy. Lots of Mayflies at night. Bugs not bad during the day.

Dump station is closed on Saturdays. They wouldn’t fill propane on our vintage RV, said it was a liability - original tank with release valve on nozzle. San Paso truck stop north of here filled it!

The spot I pinned was not exact, but along this road there’s still a lot of roadside nice camping spots next to the river to cool off. We camped on Convict Flat campground, but it was very hot and full of wasps. We would have preferred to camp further along this road to cool off in the river. Just as a heads up!

Not exact spot, but along the road a lot of spots next to the river! 36.80207, -118.73607

500p/night/motorhome. We choose to drive down the dead end at the right after the barrier. Flat spot at the bottom, with water and electricity nearby. Quiet. Good Italian restaurant and brunch buffet.
