Decent place to stay if you need warm shower, bathrooms and electricity! They also have laundry services. Just a bit pricey.
The grounds are cool to look around- school buses, truck, helicopter converted into places to sleep and rent.
The restaurant isn’t terrible, but Ben’s Hamburguesas next door is fantastic!
Also yes, loud music all day but we didn’t have any trouble when going to sleep (on a Saturday night).

You can park your camper van here for 15.000 pesos per night, you may use the shower for free and a toilet for 2000 pesos. The location is pretty quiet to be in the center of the town and we felled save sleeping in here :)

Calle a un lado del de la base de la marina. tranquila y segura. pasamos aquí varios días. La gente muy amable y el lugar hermoso.

Some very useful places in Mall Plaza Norte, 1) ARMAQ, a store that sells fishing accessories, 2) MAESTRO, you will find various electrical equipment and materials to modify your motorhome, 3) CLARO, BITEL and MOVISTAR are the telephone operators in Peru, We recommend you purchase Bitel at a rate of 29.90 soles per month with unlimited internet. In Plaza Norte is the customer service center where you can obtain your sim card with your passport.
4) restaurants, we recommend Siete Sopas, Don maminno, Embarcadero 41, Mediterraneo Chicken, Fridays, Pappa Johns, these send the food to the overlander camping and RV PARK, El Tip Viajero, is very close to the shopping center.

5)MAKRO, wholesale store.

Caviahue no tiene estructura para motorhomes.
Llegue a Caviahue un viernes por lo que por la tarde debia trabajar y conectarme a internet. Ese día, además, necesitaba desesperadamente electricidad para cargar la bateria estacionaria. Sabia que en copahue habia un camping donde podía solucionar el tema electricidad pero no queria subir porque había leido que en copahue no habia señal de internet (lo cual es absolutamente verdad),entonces, ni bien entré a la ciudad, pregunté en la oficina de turismo qué me recomendaban hacer. No me ofrecieron ningún tipo de opción. Cuando empecé a circular por el camino principal que va bordeando el lago, descubrí que todos los postes de luz tenían una especie de enchufe. Los fui probando pero ninguno estaba con electricidad (tal vez en el futuro tengan porque la av costanera está en contrucción) hasta que llegué al final de la av costanera. Ahí vi que estaban los tractores del municipio y detrás, un playon donde habia estacionadas varias motorhomes. Me aproximé y el lugar está muy bien por el momento al ser gratis: tiene mesas de camping, está sobre el lago, hay una boca de electricidad que evidentemente usan para conectar maquinas cuando trabajan y muchas canillas con agua. Hay baños que estan construyendo pero por el momento no están finalizados.
La señal de Claro funcionó bien
Me quedé desde el viernes por la tarde hasta el lunes al mediodia. Super tranquilo y recién lunes por la mañana se empezó a ver algo de movimiento de gente que fue a trabajar a la construccion.
Yo el sábado me bañé en las termas de copahue y domingo con la ducha externa de la kombi. Comento esto porque el lugar estaba buenísimo pero hay que planificar bien tema ducha porque, por mi parte, no encontré ningún lugar y si bien mucha gente se 'bañaba' en el lago, el agua es super arcillosa y te deja la piel medio rojiza

Beautiful area for our stop this evening between Denver and Southern NM. The visitor center helped us find the perfect spot amongst their 5 campgrounds for the best night in what would be predicted difficult weather (50 mile per hour winds)! There were so many potential hikes to take, and so many beautiful views. We would have like to stay longer, but the weather was not great just due to cold & high winds.

This campsite is closed ! No camping sign there !

Stella and Fred are great hosts, they help in any way they can. Fred has a garage on this campsite where you can fix things either yourself or let Fred do it.
The campsite in their spacious garden, almost a botanical garden wonderfully created by Stella, has clean toilets and a hot shower.

Only option in the area. Secure parking, room is ok. Hot water and wifi available. 1500 birr for 2 people, 1 night.
Cheap restaurant.

It's OK for one night if you want to go to Bale Mountain.

High view point. Very cold and windy. Guard come to see us.

Road is Rocky, take your time.

Best option in the area. Very quiet. Room available for 1000 birr, or lodge with private bathroom for 2000 birr per night. Camping available for 500 birr pn.

French owner very friendly. Hot shower, clean toilet. No wifi. Cold drink and kitchen available.

Clean place with kind people (nuns working)

Nothing to worry about. Just smile… We had no problems.

Yes the owner Jasper is very friendly and welcomed us . We stayed here for one night in a big garden . We payed 50 GHS for a campingtruck with 2 people. The toilet and shower is outside and o.k.
A good calm place to Go to Tamale or to drive the next day to the Mole NP

Very nice and clean showers on the grout floor in the small building - see picture attached - where are also the toilets.
Parking slots in front. Small talk with the security people there can always be helpful 😉

OK posto. We were sent to the truck corner. Little traffic during the night, but around 5:30 lots of trucks started leaving.
Food is OK at best but for 25 per person can’t complain much.
Cold showers. Bathroom is clean, but the smell is VERY potent.
