Just a nice little free camping spot. About 12 spots. Only 2 have picnic tables. There is a vault toilet and a Dumpster. Seems there is local traffic that just drives through during the day! Normal Missouri Conservation Rules! Dogs must be on leash, 14 day stay out of 30!

Very modern, busy and good hairdresser! It's situated on the first floor of the building. 20 cedi for a haircut. They take their time and do a good job.

This route is truly amazing, so beautiful! The road after the border entering Togo is not good but we would recommend it straight away even though the border took us more than 2.4 hours.

Exiting Ghana was easy. It took some time but the people were nice and all was good.

Entering Togo was more complex. We arranged an e-visa as earlier comments said you needed it here. But we were two days earlier than mentioned on the visa. The embassy (who we contacted before hand) said this was no problem but the man at the border said we had to wait 2 days. Long story short we had to pay extra, money for his own pocket. You can buy a visa here by the way. so we advise to do that!
After this point we came at a spot where we had to pay 2000 cfa for our car. We did not get a ticket. The man was stubborn but it was clear it was money for his pocket again. After a discussion we paid but explained that this was not good for tourism in Togo. Maybe if more people explain this it will change some day?

11km later there is a post to stamp your CDP. Easy, no hussle!

Very good restaurant with a wide variety of excellent food. Not the cheapest though.

Clean, simple accommodations, shared bathrooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to food. Secure parking for motorcycles. I paid 40 bol/night.

Working spigot outside of the Patagonia Marshall’s office. There is another water spigot in the post office parking lot :D

Look out for the big one: Mike Tyson! We saw about 10 crocs. Great view. Right above them

Diesel experts. We lost turbo pressure and they were able to find and change the valve in one day for our European VW Crafter. Also asked them if they could do a oil and filter change and done quickly and professionally. Highly recommended for your diesel truck/van. Very friendly staff (Spanish only).

It’s a bit cheaper option to park in shade than just before the trail. There is no parking at the visitor center. 10r for a day

We didn’t camp here but visited the orchid garden, it’s 25r pp. There is a big parking lot so I assume it’s still possible to camp. There’s also a fancy restaurant. Opening hours are for the garden- Tuesday-sunday 10-17h and for the restaurant Wednesday-sunday 11-19h. I think they also have rooms to let.
The gardens are very big with lots of orchids, bromelias etc but not many were flowering when we were here.
No need for 4x4 to get here

Sanidump and potable water, $10 pay inside to get code to open dump cap. Water is right there also, just attach hose. Make sure you turn into truck fuel area and dump is on left side on yellow cross lines.

This location is still open and they are able to fill an RV tank with a hose! Very friendly staff!

Nice little campground 10 min from 70. Didn’t stay but was able to fill up water.

This was freaking delicious. We paid 225 pesos for 12 tacos, which was perfect for 4 of us. Tried the fish and the shrimp, both are probably the best fish tacos we have ever had!

Price is $15 payable with card or Apple Pay. Water was available as well.

This place was recommended by locals, much safer than the dangerous place at Laguna Moron (many robberies)

Decidimos não ficar no camping. Iriam nos cobrar 1700 pesos para duas pessoas e barraca. Não ficamos pois o camping é utilizado como local de festa. Há "área de asadores" e nesses locais havia muitas pessoas alcoolizadas e muito lixo pelo chão. Imaginamos como deveria estar os banheiros.. Também encontramos dificuldade em encontrar um ponto de luz na área para camping. São muitos poucos espalhados pelo camping, e os que encontramos não estavam funcionando.

Great spot for the night, stayed here with our truck. Its a bit protected from the wind. Great views on the snow topped mountain. Very very quiet.

These streets around downtown seem to allow overnight parking between 5:30:pm to 7:30 am the next morning. Pretty level too.

Very easy and friendly. We filled up 2, 1 gallon jugs, and 2 5 gallon jugs for about 30 pesos. They did have a hose as well, but we just took them to a window while he filled them. Easy!

Decidimos não ficar no camping. Tinha muitas pessoas aproveitando o final de semana e o camping era pequeno. Iriam cobrar 1700 para duas pessoas com eletricidade (700 por pessoa + 300 pelo uso da eletricidade).

I had to wait 40min (on a Saturday) to get 5 regular good empanadas (1,800 peso each)…

When you approach the power station, keep going to the left, where the sign says boat launch. When you get to the boat launch parking, you can't miss a big sign for campers, with the number to call
The number is +12292733811, if you want to call ahead. Choose the option to speak to someone right away. They will tell you what sites are available. You drive to the site you want and they will come down to find you and register. The campground is small and the sites are NOT private. But the parking pads are gravel, level and will accommodate big rigs. Concrete picnic table, trash can, fire pit. Water spigots throughout the park.

This is at the "birdsong camp". Be careful here. There are remains of either a well or septic system on the ground. Prob very hard to see after dark.

As described. There are 3 dump holes, further one on right for “RHS” dumping.
