One of our favourite sites! Pitches are all on the river front, epic sunset. Well spaced out. Not full when we visited so felt like we were alone. (For context all the other national park camp sites we stayed at were totally full). We didn’t use their showers so can’t comment. Security wise we were fine, we were advised not to leave valuables on dashboard, and there were security patrols in the night. We really enjoyed staying in the park rather than in Kasane and travelling in because of being in the park at sunrise and sunset and being at the quieter end of the park. We stayed 2 nights.

Incredible wifi! Library website advertises wifi works well inside and outside, almost begging you to use it from a van/car. Parked a class B van for the day and worked. AT&T signal is spotty but wifi calling was a breeze.

No overnighting here but Walmart up the street works. No one bothered me.

Parking lot too small for anything larger than 23 feet

there is no bridge. the river is wide. we did not dare crossing it with 2wd. I walked the 10/15 meters acros but there are some deep parts (between enkele and knee).

Wow! What a view! You can see the city and El panecillo from the back room. Lovely. And excellent sandwiches, bread and pastries!

Really interesting place,interpreting the ancient believes by graceful architecture and sculptures. Very inspired and very productive artist! Well worth a visit! 2.000 pesos per person

Beautiful lagoon where you can hike and swim. The hike thru jungle one way is 1 hour. after the end of the trail you can swim. They recommended not swim where the trail goes dog left. Parking across tge NP was 25Q.

The place in the other street was closed, so we were advised to come here. They have Gasolina 95, super expensive, 2800CLP/l. But as we didn’t have other choice going to Laguna Colorada, we accepted. Emergency stop.

general medical center in Copacabana. they also have a number on the door for emergencies.

WAS a great boondock spot in October 2022 but now road is blocked by large cement barriers. Parking for a few vehicles at entrance (beside main road), not private but not noisy. No indication why or how long road will be closed.

Stayed for the night. No signs. Very quiet.

great spot for an overnight, conveniently right over the TX border for those trying to get tf out of TX. parked next to a picnic table. decent TMobile service. bathrooms pretty clean, but no soap. dumpster on site.

Safe but music was loud for us. Clean toilets and kind staff.

Easy dump station near car wash. Got gas first, showed our receipt to the cashier and got the key to unlock the dump. Spigot with strong water flow for rinsing.

As off May 12 - The water pump is accessible, but there is no water. It must still be shutoff for the winter.

What a wonderful place directly at the lake on 3700m. 40 soles per night (per vehicle). Toilets, water, showers and the lovely Alpaka named Pancho are waiting for you.

Rifle Gap state park campground. I was in site 84. Nice view of the Reservoir. dry camping. $38 a night. Several campgrounds all clustered together here. Plenty of options although they can fill up. Make a reservation online if you can.
Very quiet.

We were able to fill up our water tank although we had to partially park on the sidewalk to do it since our hose isn’t especially long. The water spigots are a little far from the pavement.

Free dump station and water. Open days and nights.
There is also propane but I don't know the price.

Great, easy access, flat parking. Well-lit and close to approx 1 million children’s play sets. Clean bathrooms. You have to pay your ticket each night and take a new ticket in the morning. Short walk to C1 trollebus for quick access to Centro Historico. Check out Maillard Beer Spot across the street for the artisanal beers!

Tire repair. They worked on our heavy duty converted ambulance same day. Good people

Lavandería in the outskirts of Posadas. We handed them our laundry at about 5pm and then retrieved about 24 hours later. We had a pretty massive load of laundry so it cost us around $10.000 pesos. Parking is best done on the street next to it as the main street is very crowded.

Not deserted anymore. They let us spend the night with no charge. We didn’t use any facilities. Slept OK with a bit of road noise..
