A good place to camp on the way to and from Tanzania. We were the only ones there but all was good and ablutions were really what one expects. The foundation here does schooling for about 100 kids.

Garage conseil auto, locals told us about this garage , serious and fast work, to change our silent blocs (they had to go abd use the press of another garage) and our back springs.
quite pricy we paid 1.500.000 FG (we had all the parts with us), but in guinea mechanics are expensive

we got there around 10am. Admission is $3 p.p. and parking for big rigs $2. Great clear and cool water. Cheap meal $11 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. in the afternoon we asked if we could stay overnight. She asked her boss and we could stay for free. Showers and toilets ok. All very friendly.

The bridge is not passable. There is a large section without decking. See photos. We had to drive back to try he coast and up th other side of the river. 3 hour back tack.

Mayan Village at Homun 1:30 min frome Merida City here you can Park Just for $150 pesos per Van per Day and enjoy this Magic Mayan Place, includes the parking spot and the bathrooms.

They have also 2 Cenotes with extra cost of 130 Pesos pp includs the entry of the 2 Cenotes and a live Jacket to swimmng at the mayan Cenotes.

they have a restaurant área with extra cost whit a pleanty food as.

A solo 1:30 min de la Ciudad De merida tenemos el pueblo de Homun en el cual encontarar este hermoso lugar llamado Santa rosa en el cual pasé 2 noches super tranquilo y bien. el día cuesta solo 150 pesos por noche donde incluye el lugar para estacionar y pasar la noche y las duchas también se puede pagar 130 pesos para visitar los 2 hermosos Cenotes del lugar el cual incluye la entrada a los 2 Cenotes y el salvavidas para nadar.

cuentan también con área de restaurante donde vas a encontrar comida local como cochinita pibil, poc chuc, salbutes, sopa de lima etc, también algo de comida del mar como ceviches, cócteles, pescado empanizado y más.

un lugar super recomendado para visitar donde puede preguntar por Gabriel o Doña Pili los cuales son una excelentes personas, muy amigables y serviciales ante todo.

Large plain with plenty of spots. Lots of mosquitoes!! The hot water terms are super nice. The surrounding buildings are deteriorating but it all adds up to a unique vibe.

We heard reports in the news that plans are in the make to commercialize this spot again in the coming years. So come, while you still can. :)

Their system was down when I visited here, which ended up costing my about 1.5 hours of time. I believe they open at 8am, so if you are earlier than that you’ll have to wait.

The lot will accommodate trucks of and size and several cars and trucks were parked there the night of 5/16/23. I estimate the capacity is two to three hundred SUB-sized vehicles. I did not note the cell phone service. An excellent place to "camp."

This campsite is on a ridge along the Ozark Highlands trail. The road from Yale is extremely rugged and requires 4WD with ground clearance. The road from Oark is much more accessible. Beautiful view with incredible sunsets.

we loved it. small park but we saw a lot of elephants, crocodiles, zebras, hippos, giraffes, impalas, birds...

perfect wildcamp. alone, quiet, nobody around. we were wake up at midnight by 3 elephants walking around our rooftop tent ;-) easy to find and beautiful place.

we asked the price by whatsapp : 235 rands per people per night. Too expensive, we were going to Ngepi (220).

they have only 2 pitches : one big with view at 180 rands pppn and 1 at the same price but small and no view. we decided not to stay because the one with view was full unfortunately :-( so better to call before to come !!!

big supermarket Metro with all you need. perfect !

250 for 2 people and 1 car. we began at 7 am at the south and go out at 5 pm at the north because we stopped a lot to take pictures but also half of the park is with deep sand sections. a lot of elephants, no cars, we loved it !!!

Stayed two nights at the lookout just before the sign "high clearance needed". Amazing sunset and views, a bit windy. Only saw 5 cars during the day. Nice spot to look at prairie dogs and coyotes. Please keep it clean!

along a gravel road, good access, even room for a caravan, very quiet, o nly one place but more along this road,remote, no traffic

As of this year there is $4/night access fee to camp at this campground unless you have a Virginia Hunting or fishing license. You can download Go Outdoors Virginia app to create an account then obtain your permit. Plus you need to fill out a Camping Authorization permit for free. I learned this from a Virginia Conversation Police officer who showed up not to long after I arrived.
Nice campground. The road is long but paved on the steep part( there are a few switchbacks)

$5 unlimited, hot water with a private toilet, in a nice sized stall! You do NOT have to be a resident, of the park, to get a shower! They also have a small laundromat with better prices than town! Front desk couldn’t have been nicer!

Renovations are on. Reopening in 4 days. Dump station available after the reopening.

Not open yet on may 16th. Probably will open on Memorial Day…

More a motel than a hotel, no breakfast. Large building with a yard for safe parking. Double bed room with private bathroom. Good quality but water worked only in the evening because the water tank on the roof was not filled up when I arrived.
