I did not care for their coffee. I had it the first time I passed through town. Artesanías J & J has the best coffee, go there first if they are open. The shop in the back at Mancu is great for finding gifts to being home. |

Buen lugar para dormir. Medio alejado de la ciudad al lado del poli. Un poco de ruido por la mañana con niños jugando. |

Awesome place, beautiful rancho. Colibries all around you. After a busy few weeks it was perfect here to rest. We stayed 5 nights and the utilities are good: hot shower, cooking area and nice lounge. Franklin and Alejandra were super friendly and helpful. Their kids are super nice too. Franklin even went with us to mechanics for a problem we had and helped us get diesel. He also showed us around in the area. We can only recommend this place, no flaws and we hope to come back some day! |

They have diesel, only cash.
Walk around the first pump coming from El Vigia and there is a small window for diesel payments. You have to pay upfront for the amount of liters you want. Then take the receipt to the pump. |

Nice owners. And indeed, free coffee, without telling us they removed the 2x coffee from the bill and we didn’t have to pay. We had a nice chat with both owners and they have traveled a lot in Venezuela and can for sure recommend something. |

Really nice view from the two pools. It was 30 min to go up and price is still $3. If you sleep on the parking and start walking at 8AM when they open you’ll have the pools to yourself like we had. |

not sure if conditions have changed since the last visitor, but this site is not level it's very slanted on one side and it's quite literally in the middle of the road. the moment I parked here, a truck was coming up the road from the opposite end. I felt like I should move. it definitely didn't feel like it camping spot or a parking spot for that matter.

Easy access to potable water. If you can remove the hose for filling jugs (it wasn’t easy) then you can hook up your own hose. If using your own hose, and depending on your setup, you might need one person to hold the button that runs the water while another holds the other end of the hose and monitors the water level. |

Beautiful spot and private kind of. Got in because the gate was open but got locked in as it’s closed until June 1. I wouldn’t recommend anything bigger than a van as the roads a bit dicey on the way up but going slow in our transit we had not issues. Great spot if you have dogs. |

was thinking about stopping but saw the lots are directly next to a fairly busy road, as well as being very close to each other. seemed pretty overpriced ($38 min) for that sort of lack of privacy. 30 mins up the road there is free dispersed camping in the forest :) |

This gas station has water, which is potable according to the employees. Coming from Puno just drive to the end of the gas station and there is a sign “agua” besides “aire”. |

Sites were full. one had a fallen tree in it. Road was dry, hard-packed dirt, with many potholes. only one car wide, but there are pullouts. I drove to the end of the road and boat launch. No cars/trucks/trailers, boats or people here. 3:30pm on Thursday. weekend would be busier. I found a level spot at the back of boat launch and stayed one night. |

It's kind of an open air water reservoir. Water looked clean but there was no one there to ask so we went on. But if you are low on water, you can definitely fill up here. |
