Still 10$ per car. Very nice place and you can park directly at the beach.
We arrived at a sunday and there were a lot of families and music. After 6pm almost everybody left. During the day we had to pay 0.50$ to use the toilet after about 6pm nobody was there to collect the money and we could use it for free. Maybe that‘s just this way at the weekends, we don‘t know.

Nice people. Wifi really fast near house. Laundry for a couple dollars per load. Not sure how much exactly but we did 4 loads plus stayed and bought a fresh loaf of bread all for $26 usd so not bad.

There’s a sign up at the entrance that says peligroso no entrar. We went past- nothing dangerous perse though there are lots of slippery/broken boards. The first part is mostly boardwalks and stepladders- some missing handles. The second part is fairly rocky. We were able to make it to the little island in the middle of the river but not completely across- if you are daring you may be able to make it all the way but the thought of falling in the cold river wasn’t worth it for us. Still a nice hike though. Took one hour to the river.

Nice hike but definitely lots of stairs. As with other hikes, the wood is fairly slippery and a good amount of the step ladders are missing the handles - did slip and fall a few times. The viewpoint is nice- we didn’t head all the way down to the lake as it started to rain pretty hard. A little under an hour from the start to the laguna mirador.

We stayed one night. Beautiful and calm place, with other travelers who also have acquired the night. Some places with garbage and dirty toilet paper. The gas station on the other side of the road continues closed. There is a restaurant 200 a few of the place that looked expensive Rs. A Mr. Argentine said that the name of this place is "Valently Valley" and that in the full moon nights it is possible to see the locks of lions in the mountains behind the lake.

The beach is very beautiful, plus an incredible sunset is seen here and the facilities are very good. But, there was no way to get a discount or park for free, you must pay $15 USD for 2 ppl, pool, WiFi, bathrooms, and cold shower included 24/7. Tracy the manager very friendly, excellent service.
But it is 18 kilometers from the center of San Juan del Sur, more than half is ballast road and not in a very good condition. However, it is suitable for any type of vehicle but low cars could suffer a lot, it took us 50 minutes to arrive in our Kombi.

Very clean water. We boiled it and had very very little residue, so it’s clean. Very tasty too! A lot of locals were here filling up.

Very quiet night. Lucky with no wind. A few locals stayed late on a Monday night but cleared around midnight.

Beautiful and luxurious place, but very expensive. We paid 350 pesos per night for two people. No discount possibilities. Why? Because of Christmas. I said we are in November, but no, August, September and October were low season, in November starts high season. We are the only ones staying here...

Great spot! Only the road to get there is a little bit tricky (especially when it rains...). Had some problems getting up and down the hill (we have a rwd). And we asked, if we could park in front of the rooms on the platform, because the parkingarea isn‘t very big or flat..

Felt very comfortable here. The Managerin and her son are lovely people who make u feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this place.
I'm traveling as a backpacker with my wife and a friend. So we are always looking for something cheap. This family driven business offers rooms between 25000tzs and 50000tzs.
25000tzs is for rooms that are still under construction but they are already fully functional.
Warm shower, free and good wifi. Just had a videocall with my parents in Europe.
Also included is a good breakfast and laundry service is also offered. What else do u need? 😊

As described before. Tight space between trees but I sqeaked my van in. Super quiet and dark until late morning. A great place to sleep in, if desired. Poor solar and cell reception, but great relaxation and solitude. Peace, Dave ✌

Coming from Salta 500m bevor, coming from from Cafayate 500m after the brigde, a very good dirt road is going down to the river. There is plenty of space for a few big rigs. Some places are well hidden from the road. Right now, this place is very clean. Please help, that this will be also in the future.

Shortly after you turn left here there is a steep 4x4 obstacle, but after that there are a lot of spots the further you go.

Parking on the street in front of hostel. Quiet at night. We paid 20 Soles per night for our van (2 people). We showed up when they were celebrating a birthday party so lots of screaming kids and adults drinking, which is why I think we got a discount to stay. Bathroom was average clean and the shower was very warm. The WiFi worked on and off. Colectivo to the city from here was 1 Sol.

This place has very large individual sites that can accommodate big rigs easily. All sites have a covered area with safe power point and light and a long table and benches. sometimes the table is under cover sometimes outside. Fireplace and bbq too. Right next to the lake and the volcano. Good wind protection (needed the night we were there!). Showers were quite dirty and hot water a bit of a trickle. The manager was very friendly.
As always, the campsite came with a friendly dog. 5000 pp in November.

nice camping. We arrived on a sunday afternoon and we were alone. 15 site on the camping, maybe it's better to book during high season. we stayew 2 nights but they charged us only one. nice staff! They say that only 4x4 are allowed to go to the camping (the road is not so good), but they let us in with our van. the last 5kms on the "road" were a bit difficult, especialy because it rained the day before, but we did it.
cold shower only. clean toilets. no wifi, no network. potable water. nice place to stay!

If you think the food at the hotels is too expensive, come here to eat spaghetti for 500 cfa or couscouse for 700 cfa. They also have drinks for local prices and nice places to sit. Just walk down the beach and look for a blue bar.

Huge grassy camping area with stone tables and bbqs. 2 interior pools, one nicely hot, the other less so. 3 outdoor pools which are warm. Good hot showers, laundry sinks, loos. Bargain 100 uruguayan pesos each for car camping for 2 including pools (open until 22.00). Road pretty rough for the 12 kms from Young turn off.
