Intersection of hwy 10 and 2 NB (young’s cove road) very nice grassy area with picnic tables behind the truck stop. Level parking lot for big rigs, cars, rvs. Parked our 36 foot motorhome no problem. Stayed a few hours, I’m thinking overnight would be fine too

Around here there is a police station on the side of the road and around ten policemen stopping cars.

We were stopped by the first of them and in very unfriendly manners asked for every document he could ask for and then finally let us go. For his manners and stuff he asked (he found strange we had bought our insurance in Puno), we believe he was fishing for something. Everything was ok so he finally let us go.

We drove 50m and the last policeman of the group stopped us again.
He said he was going to fine me for reckless driving, because I was leaning forward instead of sitting straight up (I was raising the car window.

Then he said our lights were too dirty and that we needed a special permit to have tinted glasses.

We told him we are driving around America and check with consulates and ministries before entering each country, to be sure of our rights and obligations (not true), so that we knew our lights and tinted glasses were legal and that I was not obliged to get out of the car or give him my passport as he was asking.

He wanted me to get out, away from the dash camera he saw we had, which I did not do. I also told him we had inside security cameras, so my movements while driving were on record.

We believe he noticed we would not pay a dime, and he was wasting his time with us instead of trying luck with other cars. So he finally let us go.

Just be calm, don't be in a hurry, don't get out of the car, don't give your original documents and definitely DON'T PAY.
They'll eventually get tired and let you go.

Spent a night here while in Seattle. Pay until 4pm, then free all night until 9am. Traffic settles down by 11pm and then picked up in the morning, but otherwise pretty quiet. Safe and close to the city

Nice clean well spaced sites. Friendly staff. Toilets and showers in good condition and immaculately clean. Full hook ups at a very reasonable price of less than $40 at this the first open day of the season. Internet is so slow and unreliable as to be useless. Full bars on Rogers 4G cell service

Stayed in a 21’ campervan and no knocks. There was a Subaru and an overlander here too and nobody bothered us. However, when I was leaving I did the sign that says park closed 11pm - 5am.

It's a very nice dog park right next to an actual park for families. There is also a stream that runs alongside of it, they have small trail, there's bathrooms which were kind of dirty so I didn't use.

In the village, a sign says: RV parking. Just at left side of sports center, a few places exist. Site might be soft and « muddy » after rain. Watch out.

Untimed parking spots on each side of the street with no signs. 280 southbound is around the corner and northbound is down the street. Chevron gas station (closes at 10pm) next to here and a hiking trail around the corner that has a pit toilet.

Irving Oil gas station restaurant and convenience store with a large parking lot and a large grassy area with picnic tables behind the building. Big rig friendly and I’m sure you could pitch a tent there. Tasty treats at the convenience store!

As of writing this note, it is illegal to park anywhere along the road in the canyon till you get to Anderson Campground and beyond. A Utah sheriff stopped across the street and he updated me on this area for camping. You could probably do it if you were incognito yet that is difficult in a mid sized Skoolie. The choice is yours my friends.
It is a nice place to stop, feel the cool water especially after driving a full day.
Blessings
