A rest area for trucks and cars with a Mobil gas station and several fast food restaurants. The building with the toilets and food counters has good wifi. The parking area has truck and highway noise but sleeping was easy. Everything is clean and well-maintained.

At the base of Cabezon Peak. Trails and quietude and absolutely beautiful views and sunsets. Rattlesnakes when in season (warmer) so be careful. Fire pit though I don’t know if fires are allowed right now. 14 night maximum.

High clearance needed and 4WD helps. Road is a bit sketchy coming in.

Perfect Camping, really good protection from the wind from 3 sites, only the way to the street is open.

So it can be seen from the street, the ground is really rocky, and there are lots of spiky plants. But windprotection is awesome :))

Indian and Chinese food. Lots of different options and food ok but if we return to Kasane we will go back to The Indian restaurant a bit further east. The food was tastier and lighter, prepared with less oil.

Gas, restaurant, convenience store, and washrooms. There is a single shower here for $5, take as long as you like, bring your own towels. It’s a lot like that old bathroom in your basement, but your guests use it so you know it does the job. I comes complete with a noisy utility room on the other side of the wall. Hey, the shower is hot with good pressure and there are handy shelves inside the stall. While you’re there, plug into the outlets on the left side of the building and charge up the batteries. It’s right on the highway but you could park for the night if the noise doesn’t bother you.

I was here on a Sunday and they were closed so I sat in the parking lot and was able to get the wifi. Not tons of parking but it works

Nice and comfortable hotel for $960 pesos and they let me pull my motorcycle into the courtyard. Internet was unreliable, but was reasonably fast part of the time.

Really lovely little canyon. The road in was a little rough but definitely available for low clearance vehicles. Some highway noise and cows at night.

Beautiful place. Already left a review but adding pictures! Game warden and sheriff patrol through a lot so we felt really safe. Bathrooms are not working here, just a warning!

Nice little wild camping spot with a lookout over Tropic, just east of Bryce Canyon about 15m. Small fire ring, strong Verizon LTE. Two parking spots next to each other, a third about 60ft away, would be a good spot for a small group.

Unmarked turn off from Merrill Bench Rd, satellite view on Google maps shows spot well.

Located right inside the border of the Fremont-Wimea National Forest, about 5 minutes off the 140. Needed something for an overnight & prefer not to sleep in pullouts. would be too small for an RV or truck + trailer, but big enough for a van or for rig + tent.

no vehicles passed all night. only noise was the sound of the cows.

primitive forest camping, please leave no trace.

The sign as you pull in does not say No Overnight Parking. It says No Overnight Camping. I parked overnight just fine, NO generators, keep slides in, don’t set up shop, and you’ll be fine.
Pretty sure I saw a teenage drug deal, though. 😬

Stayed 2 nights, only planned to stay one but it was so nice we changed plans. 10 miles from i10, easy, smooth drive. Only about 40-50% of sites taken, even on the weekend. 1-2 bars on T-mobile. We took site 16 and had enough northern sky to use Starlink. Nice double loop campsite, northern loop is much more forested than southern loop. All have power and water! 20,30,40amp.

Good place to stay the night. Open 24/7, toilets as well. Big supermarket across the street. There are several places you can park around the building, ask the attendants, also one spot behind the building that isn't marked but that they recommend to us. This way you can always find shelter against strong wind here.
