Nice place. Double room 25000CFA. Very good service. Restaurant is good. Secure parking. The AC was not functioning in my room so they moved me to another one. Good place to stay.

Lots of tent spots, rocky entrance but had no trouble in 4WD vehicles. Plenty of fire rings and wood around, just check the fire hazards!

Muy grande y junto a la playa. Los baños son antiguos y podrían estar más cuidados en temporada alta. El WiFi si existe esta en algunas partes del predio. $3400 PA por dos personas y la camioneta. hay sectores para lavar loza y otras cosas. no en los lugares. electricidad en casi todos los sitios. mucho verde y pajaritos. muy tranquilo en temporada baja y talvez no tanto en verano por las fiestas en la playa. nos contaba un local que la música de los eventos se escucha a muchos metros de la playa. Agua caliente en algunas horas del día cuando prenden la caldera. muchos lugares para hacer asado pero no hay cocina comunitaria.cruzando la avenida a 500 metros al sur hay un par de negocios con bastantes cosas incluido pan y cerveza. por la paralela de la ruta 2 que está justo afuera.

Nice and salle State Park. Quiet place at 28$/day with power and water. We like!

Established campground 10 minutes from Wanaka. $10 ppn, which is great value. Self service check-in. Card payments possible. Nice location overlooking the Clutha river. The other part of the campground is located across the street and overlooks the Hawea river. $7 ppn on that side.

after reading we shouldn't visit in the weekend we decided to come on Tuesday. but .... that's when they are closed. you still have to buy tickets online in a time slot wich we did for Wednesday.
and then we went a day to la Trinidad instead

Filled up water no problem, 11pm at night so store was closed and couldn't ask beforehand.

We picked rental from SA .. few small problems came here to get fixed before continuing to Namibia

We did Carnet 'Substitution' here with SAAA approval letter and current and new Carnet. Collect next day. No vehicle inspection. Painless.

Awesome spot. Huge lot. Parked right up to the water at high tide and was alone the whole time. Some sand, imagine you could plop a tent if you wanted.

Awesome place. Self Service $6 for a day. They have a table with a seat, BBQ and camp sites are big enough to fit an 18 feet trailer and my 18 feet SUV.

The owner has a plot, where he allows people to stay. Beautiful viewpoint of the Villa from the top. It's not the exact point in the gps.

Ecolodge owned by Tito and Jane, on a magnificent white sand beach.

Accommodation:
-They offer cheap accommodation right by the water: bungalows are 150 LE / night, or you pay 100 LE to pitch your tent.
-The wooden bungalows are very simple: it’s only got a bed and a mosquito net.
-The bathroom is a tiny hut with bucket shower and a toilet. Simple and functional.

Food: Tito cooks for you, food prices vary between 30 LE (breakfast) and 100 LE (meals with fish).

Internet and electricity: Good network coverage, no wifi. There’s also a solar generator to charge your small electronic devices.

Access: follow the signs “Tito’s paradise” when arriving in Black Johnson (1 hour from Freetown). I paid 40 LE from Ogoo Farm to the lodge on a motorbike. The road to Black Johnson is tarred (except a small portion that’s in construction). From the village to the lodge, the path gets narrow and rocky, probably only usable by bikes.

Definitely recommend it for people looking for some quiet time — you’ll likely meet no one else on the beach except Tito’s family!

Great night. Quiet, no knocks. Parking lot had mostly overnight truckers who were quiet and two cars. All left no mess and were quiet by 9pm. Great one night stop.

Still a good option for a night. Found it easily with the descriptions also in the dark. Not too much rubbish anymore, actually a nice place.

not the quietest night sleep. i could here hwy traffic all night. and occasionally, a car would come through the parking lot. the hotel is abandoned- so you could park there, but it looked seedy. a few people were parked there and, i’m not sure, but it looked as though maybe they broke into the hotel and were squatting in one of the rooms. overall it was an ok place to stay. a few others slept here in their cars- but if i found myself in the area again- i think i’d choose a rest stop to sleep at.

we stayed 1 night here in November, have to walk through among old city, might be not good option for summer, because there is a walking path at the top of the beach and some people was walking at night even in November, touristic season can be disturbing. BUT there is also caves and staying inside the cave provide some privacy and not might take attention from outside, we even lit a small camp fire inside the cave.

Starts at the Mirador Paso Garibaldi. Definitely high clearance 4wd only. Maybe doable with a van with a lot of attention to the line choice, but I wouldn’t advice it. Some steps and deep ruts.

Pernoitamos aqui, movimentado cedo da noite, mas calmo e silencioso com o passar das horas, não tem nada aqui no local, só estacionamento, porém fica passos das principais ruas da cidadezinha

Ficamos aqui por 4 noites, última rua da praia, na rua tem várias casas de veraneio, apenas 2 casas eram moradores. lugar muito tranquilo e seguro. A noite fica guardas de moto passando ontem vimos 2 guardas, não é municipal, são guardas privados.

O negócio e bem rústico aqui, sem água, sem energia. Os vizinhos que ofereceram água, então venha preparado. Mercado e padaria a 2,5 km a pé pela praia, a capelinha fica a 3 km apê pela praia.

Quando estávamos aqui na rua havia um tapume então, corre o risco de qndo vir já ter uns prédios aqui.

O local fica a 1,3km da pista e a rua é terra e tem que vir bem de vagar, tinha buraco de chuvas.. Espero que goste do local

Chegando na praia, indo para esquerda a 2,5 km você chega na igreja e 1,8 km tem a piscina dos corais

Sinal da claro e Vivo pegam bem por aqui, não tivemos problemas. Eu uso um amplificador de sinal de celular rural, faz contato que te envio a instalação.

Hotel close to the Nepalese border. For 200 rupees we could park in front and sleep in our van. They let us use their toilet and wifi. They have a restaurant on site with some cheap food! Friendly people.
