I had a confirmed and payed reservation. Arrived on a Wednesday, the office was closed. There’s a code to open the gate supposedly sent by email. I didn’t receive any. I tried contact by phone no one answered just a recording. Finally I asked someone inside the camp for the code.
Apart from the horrible customer service the place is nice.

$200mxn for non-hookup. The showers were really great, the women's toilet had an inch of standing water on the floor the whole time, but was relatively clean. No sinks. There is another, much nicer toilet inside the palapa with a sink, but no soap. The grounds were great, shady trees. The dogs were so cute and chill. Staff welcoming and nice. In hindsight, we wished we had eaten dinner there with the other guests.

Big gravel lot with amazing views, high above Pendleton. Portapotty and picnic tables. We spent one night and loved the views.

We slept very well, beautiful and super pleasant place, well worth knowing! There were other motorhomes on site. Observation: The day dawned rainy and the dirt road that connects the beach to the city of Madryn was extremely bad and dangerous, here's a tip and a warning.

Dormimos muito bem, lugar lindo e super agradável, vale muito a pena conhecer! Haviam outros motorhomes no local. Observação: O dia amanhceu chuvoso e a estrada de terra que liga a praia a cidade de Madryn ficou extremamente ruim e perigosa, fica dica e o alerta.

Good spot for the night. I had it all to myself. Some surfers showed up in the morning, and traffic started after 6, but it was quiet at night. There's room to walk dogs, and it's decently far back from the road for a pullout. There was also a cute, free little library.

Really nice place behind Academy for dogs to play at. I put their training collars on and just let them run and play. People are around, but far away to where it didn't bother the pups. It is pretty close to the highway, but I think it will be fine.

The tour is not available until mid of December 2022 due to renovation. It's still possible to do a tasting or shop some sauces and jams. Tasting is now 15$B and the tour with tasting 20$B. Visited on 09. November.

Stayed one night in my “stealth” truck camper, no one bothered me. Some noise overnight and in the morning from the nearby businesses but overall good for a quick sleep spot.

Quiet spot to spend the night in my truck. Some traffic passed by in the evening and in the morning but otherwise quiet. 1-2 bars of AT&T service.

Very nice spot. Quiet, beautiful mountain views and trees. Cell was poor but Starlink worked ok. Loved the sound of crickets at night. Some nice hiking and campgrounds further down the road.

Needed a place near the MGM to go to a show and this fit the need. We initially went by the Ginseng BBQ spot but most of the businesses in that area have been closed, probably due to a buy out and imminent demo. At any rate, we didn't feel like it was going to be too secure. We came over here and liked the lighting and the open feel. It is surrounded by a fence but the gate is always open. There is a QR code to pay the $18 for one day (24 hours). We had no problems but know that there is construction going on next door and they start about 6:30 am.

These coordinates took me to a trail road in the wood. Not the kind of place that suits anybody …. I didn’t go any further and turned around. Went to the North D&D camping by the Possum Kingdom Lake.

It can be a little loud until around 9:00 or 10:00, but for the most part it's a good place to park. mostly for 20 ft and under. However I did see a bus there that was parked comfortably. Make sure you got goodwills. It is concrete and gravel as well as dirt. If it's really rainy, you want to make sure you have whatever you think you need to not get stuck or get unstuck in the mud. underneath the freeway is super loud.

This was an easy place to fill our 7 gallon "blue cube" water jugs but if your containers are too much wider, they will not fit in the container. The current price is 25 cents/ gallon.

Called the hotel and asked if I could stay in my camper van. She says as long as it fits in a parking spot I will be fine.

Great place off the road. Beautiful setting with the mountains and lake. You can still hear cars passing by though, but you can’t see them.
Was windy the first night, but the next night it was very calm. Was able to take the stand up paddle board out.
Both nights we had our roof tent, a camper van and motorcycle sharing the space, with room to spare.

This is the starting point for walking up to the Aztec pyramid. Path is easy to follow but may be exhausting as it is all stair steps up to the top. Important notes: You need to bring the entrance fee of 85 pp. The access to the pyramids is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days it is not possible to reach the view points at the pyramid. On these days you may turn off to the left about 20 meters before the gate at the top and follow that path for about 200 meters. There are some spots where the trees open up so you can view at least part of the beautiful landscape.

This is a great stop on the trek to Choquequirao. We stopped here just for lunch on our first day hiking, and then we camped and ate dinner here on our last night before heading back up to Capuliyoc early the following morning. Easily the best food here out of all the restaurants along the trail. The campsite was also very clean with plenty of flat spaces for tents.
This was a great place to stay the last night so that we could get an early start up to Capuliyoc in the morning. That part of the trail is the hottest and most sun exposed. Start as early as possible! We left Chiquisca at 5:30am, and it took us about 3 hours to reach Capuliyoc. The first hour and a half was cool and shady, but the second hour and a half was nearly full sun, with only small bits of shade.

just go to legal, free, dispersed sites right up the road. camp host or (someone else) was creepily and very slowly circling the grounds and breaking for 30 seconds or so whenever they got to my site. it was weird so i left.

This site is still closed, completely abandoned. It looks like a ghost town. However, there are a few covered places that provide good shade and a break after the steep descent before you start climbing back up the other side. You can’t access the river, but we found a water hose from a spring up the mountain to refill our water.
If you are going from here up to Chiquisca, consider waiting until 3pm to make the climb up. At that time (at least in November), the sun dips behind the mountain and the trail is cool and shady.

Looks like a good option for camping in a tiny/safe village. Tienda nearby. Water tab but no water when we were there.
