this is the perfect Basecamp to explore Cotonou! Right on the beach but hidden behind trees, 20min from the city center. we stayed 5 night there with 2-3 cars and nobody disturbed us. sometime friendly locals says hi as usual. More crowded during the weekends with families enjoying the beach.

Posto de gasolina junto a loja Havan, tem banheiro, internet, torneira d'água e um ponto com energia. Pessoal do posto super gente boa, liberaram até banho quente para nós. A área é fecha com corrente as 22:30 e reabrem as 9:00. Super seguro e tranquilo. Pegamos um lugar bem atrás do posto.

You need traffic no fines document to go out of the country with your vehicle.Second floor door number 11.The cost is 508 egiptian pounds plus possible fines. Someone has to pay with his egiptian card and you pay him by Cash.You don't need help....only give them your egyptian driver license. everything arround 15 min.

Just a regular tollbooth with official staff. Paid $100 pesos for a vehicle.

Sûrement le meilleur endroit pour passer les nuits à Banos. on peut demander à la résidence Los Arrayanes de l'eau pour le plein. (le tuyau est très long. Le monsieur habitant ici est très sympa. et sûrement le wifi de chez Roberto si vous pouvez avoir le code, il n'est pas souvent ouvert... pas mal d'overlanders viennent ici.

We went to the panel beater Mr Lagos to plug a hole on the roof.
He was really kind and helpful. And he lives with seven cute and friendly cats 😊

Real nice spot about a quarter mile from the I-15. Seems to be an old road stop or town long gone. GeoThermal Springs (not active when I was here) clustered in this area. BLM land from what I see on maps. Large enough for the biggest rigs. Full gFi here. Abit of air traffic due to local sports airport, but minimal noise. 2nd time here. Frontage road maybe has 1car/hr. No off roaders like Jean Lake has.

normal Wal-Mart. we parked on the garden side. some noise but not bad at all.

Great little pastry shop with a restaurant attached. Fresh pastries and buffet breakfast available. Free parking too and there’s an Equity bank ATM available.

One pool with warm water (obviously 38 degrees). Nice for a stop. Looks like a swimming pool in Europe.

Passed driving south. Got sent to the inspection area on the right with a group of men dressed in black under a canopy shade. They asked where we were going and where we came from. Asked if we had our vehicle permit. They explained they are looking for weapons, drugs, or large amounts of cash in either dollars or pesos. When asked specifically how much cash we were carrying we said only a little and they waved us through. Pretty quick and easy stop. Did not search the camper van or have us exit.

Excellent bike shop. A competent and english speaking mechanic was able to unveil (dévoiler) my seriously twisted wheel. Also adjusted the gears and breaks and cleaned the bicycle. All for 6000 kwanzas.

They sell excellent quality road and mountain bikes and bicycle gears. They might have spare parts.

Great place to check your stationary battery for motorhome and also for passenger car. If you need to buy a new battery it works with the Moura brand and it was the only store in Puerto Madryn that had the type of solar stationary battery we needed because they also work with the installation of solar panels. We need to better fix the solar plate that came loose because of the wind and they have a specialized person to do the repair. Very good service with a fair price and they are very attentive. There are about 12 truck spots towards the backside of the lot. Not the most level but relatively quiet and a grassy area to walk our dogs just in front of us

we crossed Ivory Coast to Ghana. Customs on both sides, friendly. Just took 1,5 hours on Ivory Coast side, half an hour on the Ghana side. We crossed with Carnet.

When you cross the border into Ghana you will find a bank with ATM here. There is another bank with ATM on the right a bit further down this road, in case one of the ATMs doesn't work.

Faucet at the side of the building by the air pump and vacuum. Seems free , no one came to check.

Hotel big parking with tree..water ..eletricity..info of the city ..shower. Grey water . 14 km from bus 1 min away to the centre 40 cent ticket.8 km from the centre.english.

Hola ! Somos una familia de 4 personas (2 adultos y 2 ninos). Hemos dormido durante 2 noches en este camping donde el propietario Cristian y Jérémy estuvieron perfectos ! Son amables, siempre con la sonrisa y han hecho todo para que puedamos sentirse bien y disfrutar lo mas posible en Santiago del Chile. Hemos pagado 90 000 pesos para las 2 noches y hemos limpiado la ropa para 9 000 pesos.

Cristian ha reservado un taxi para nosotros (ida y vuelta para 70 000 pesos). El camping se encuentra a 30/40 minutos del centro de la ciudad.

En el camping, habia agua caliente para ducharnos, agua potable, wifi, electricidad ...

Fue un lugar calme y muy practico para dormir sentiendonos en seguridad.

Bonjour ! Nous sommes une famille de 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Nous venons de passer 2 nuits dans ce camping où le propriétaire Cristian et son membre du personnel Jérémy ont été parfaits ! Ils sont gentils, souriants et ont fait tout leur possible pour nous permettre de passer un bon moment à Santiago du Chili.
Nous avons payé 90 000 pesos pour les 2 nuits et notre lessive a coûté 9 000 pesos.
Cristian s'est chargé de nous réserver un taxi pour nous déposer et nous récupérer en centre ville (70000 pesos). C'est à 30/40 minutes
Sur place, il y avait des douches chaudes, de l'électricité, du wifi, des courts de tennis, un endroit pour vider les toilettes, de l'eau ...
Cet endroit fut très pratique pour dormir dans notre camping en se sentant en sécurité et au calme !

We asked the security guards and they ask us to park on the gravel lot close to the tower.
We had a very quiet night and felt safe.

Clean double room for 120 MAD. Common bathroom (hot water and soap) and toilet. All very clean. Quiet place.
Tah has some cafés, restaurants and basic shops.

Parking area in front of the museum. We spent the night with our big truck on the right side of the access street - see IOverlander map - as advised by the museum’s security.

Multiple places along the sand road along the beach. Easy to find and easy to reach a spot. Locals are hanging around during day, nobody in night.

Nice and quiet, recommendation!
