Crossed from Argentina into Uruguay by motorcycle. Was short for the 400 ARS they wanted and was allowed to use my credit card.

Good place for a stop through on your way by. Very accepting of bicyclists, despite it being a moto house. Whatsapp for Enrico is still correct as below. $2500 ARS / person/ day. Shared bunk rooms, but was the only one in mine. Enrico and the other people around are lovely. Kitchen available for use.

We had our eye on two other places and found this at the last minute. So glad we did because of the location and kind hosts. We stayed four nights. Room for one vehicle to park. We were able to fit under the electrical wires easily and get level without blocks. Amenities (bathroom and kitchen) are inside the family home. The shower is only lukewarm, not hot, which was the only downside given the cool, rainy weather during our visit. We paid 25,000 COP/night (10 for vehicle, 10 for bathroom, 5 for kitchen). The road is right over the fence, so many people stopped to take photos or ask questions. All in all, a good place to stay to visit Jardin. We recommend the Garrufa cable car, Jardin de Rocas bird sanctuary, Ambrosia Taller de Pan, and Mambru restaurant.

great spot, but some people putting out furniture, parking across multiple spaces, and running generators ALL NIGHT LONG. that's the type of behavior that gets nice places shut down.

keep your stuff inside, park respectfully, and for the love of God don't run your generator all night! use your batteries.

Driving 85 is so long and tedious! We were going to stop at the Pemex with the palapas but there wasn't any level parking so we came to this place. So glad it is here! We drove up the little road to the top, easy for 2 vehicles. Yup, there is traffic noise but at night it was dead quiet and we slept well. This is a quarry and actually there is so we here this morning chipping out rock from below. Trucks stop on the side of the road here to check their brakes.

Couldn't enter with our 3'2m rig. Height limit looked to be 2'4m. Lots of people hanging around outside.

No security in the parking lot, swarms of kids asking for money the second you arrive. Lots of people hanging around in groups in and outside the building.

150 kz for a Toyota Hilux and camper cell.

Went there in a thursday, at 10am, and we didnt see anybody. No kids around. Very spectacular.

An ATM with money, a bit unknown in town so there is not many locals waiting in line. We went there twice, and waited not more than 5 minutes each time. Its inside the parking lot of the hotel. You can drive your rig inside, the guard is used to it. Big trucks will have to stay along the sidewalk.

For us the only option in town for supermarket. The parking lot of the Kero shopping center was not guarded and filled with people/kids how will harass you for money, we didnt feel confortable leaving our truck there while we were doing the groceries. The Shoprite has a (real) height limit of 2.4 m, not for us.
So Angomart it is. But both our Visa and Mastercard were not accepted (accepted everywhere in Africa before)... Only local cards or cash. But, fortunatly, if you are low in cash, there is an ATM one minute away how works perfectly, we put it on the app.

Still the same price. We paid 1000 kz pp to the "soba/chief" how will show you around and lead you to the arches. We think its a fair price and didnt try to negotiate... The lake is dry for the past 5 years but its still a lovely place to visit. The drive itself is worth coming here.

Very beautiful church and free. To enter you need to wear t-shirt and trousers (short, dress not allowed).

Really nice place for drinking traditional bolivian coffee. The owner is really passionate about it and can give you the best explanation about the different types of coffee that you get here.

You can’t camp around this mirador anymore. A hostel worker intercepted us at 8pm, and told us that if we didn’t move, he’d call the police and “that it would get dangerous here?” He ended by advertising some campgrounds and his own hostel. Weird energy. We packed up and camped elsewhere.

what a cool place. almost incredible to be able to Park here for free! people come early in the morning to kayak or swim or just enjoying the view. no amenities

Good for the shower but wouldn't recommend sleeping here. The noise from the main road is very loud and relentless. Police came by at 2am and we could hear them noting down our reg but they didn't speak to us.

Entry is 180 per person plus 30 pesos for parking. The campground is great, by the warm river where you soak at any time.
If you arrive by 6 pm you pay for the next day and enjoy that evening for free.

We really enjoyed our (very short) stay here. Pretty and calm beach. A bit further down the shore is a very popular kitesurfing area: fun to watch. Also convenient is that there is a tank station a 3 minute walk, so if in need of a bathroom (no privacy here, so otherwise you have to go in your rig/RV/bottle) you can just walk over. White sand, no shade. Didn’t swim, but looked good.

Useful and fun spot to stop for the night, for $7. I'm on a bicycle and camped on the tiled patio, with private shower and toilet. Elvis and Vanessa (and their 3 month old baby!) were very welcoming and Elvis took me out for a stroll around the town and to eat ALL the local foods we could find around town that evening!

A small quiet town with a basketball court and small area to park vehicles and stay for the night. If you're with a bicycle you can pass the night under the school's roof. Water taps with potable water on the side of the school. Very friendly locals.
Only one bodega in town and not much else. It's at almost 4,000m so it gets cold at night.
The dirt/gravel road from Bambamarca is doable with bicycles/motos, I did it during rainy season and it was fine. Collectivos and pickups drive on it too so should be fine with a small vehicle. Expect a bumpy ride though.
The ride itself is quite beautiful with awesome views.

We really enjoyed it here. This is a fully operational hotel with beautiful grounds and two swimming pools, we feel the price is fair for dogs, given that they really do let you take over the lawn. And for 20,000 per person (kids are free) and all facilities mentioned below, it is a great deal. We stayed a week and went into Cali multiple times. The staff at this hotel are easy going. Only downside were the sandflies that like to nibble your ankles. Come armed!

It is more like a parking lot than campsite but it is the only one in city. Owner is nice, price still 20b/pppn. Facilities not really working, only one toilet. Owner told us it just get stuck and he will repair the others but nothing happened. It is a pity. Good for one night.

We spent 2 days here, it’s a very cute small and quiet camping, there is everything you need - potable water, clean showers and toilets, well equiped kitchen, electricity for campers. Everyone is very nice and friendly. There is separate spaces for motorhomes and for tents. Good vibes. We paid 25pp but if you spend more days I hear there’s a discount. Worth staying here if you want to spent time in and around Itacaré.

laundry service. 20 pesos per kilo foe next day pick up. they may have urgent service. I did not check.

stayed here last night after the guy at the Canon de Sumedaro parking lot wanted 100 pesos to park the car. Also, there were lot of mangoes tree and I was worried about mangoes falling on my solar panel
I felt if its safe in that isolated place in by the river, it must be safe in Zocalo roo. parked in front of police station, no problems at all. keep in mind, I have a roof top tent that is very obvious to everyone too.
I plan to leave the car here all day while I get the boat ride to the canyon.

Pernoitamos no carro no estacionamento, e apesar do barulho da rodovia e da altura das caixas de som, foi uma noite tranquila e nos sentimos seguros. Funcionários muito simpáticos. Banheiros limpos. Abastecemos e ganhamos dois banhos quentes, de 8 minutos cada. Disponível água filtrada gelada.
Tem espaço pet, porém não utilizamos. Internet boa, porém não pega no estacionamento.
