Although there aren't any signs about No Parking, I talked with customer service inside. A store manager said no overnight parking, it'll be towed away.

Easy to find, as far as I can tell it’s open later than 3:30 but that might be hit or miss.

Lots of men in black sitting and standing around. We rolled right thru behind a big tractor trailer rig. No identifying agency words on shirts.

Great find. Beautiful views. Clean bath house and the host is awesome. 9am yoga on the weekends. Space for 40 rigs but nothing longer than 20ft. No dump station. Yes water. Yes WiFi.

There are 3 sort of places to stay near the end of paved spur Rd 406 and 3 pins on the map, but there seems to be some confusion about what is or isn't free.

1. The northernmost location is the obvious NRA pay campground with picnic structures, grills and pit toilets. Appear to be 5 sites with pay station. $6/night
2. The middle location is down the dirt road on the left after the last site and privy. There are carsonite posts designating the area for camping. According to the sign at the pay station, this is the primitive camp area and is still $6/night. There are about 3 or 4 unmarked spots.
3. The southernmost area is a small pulloff near the literal end of the road by the lake. According to the sign at the pay station, camping is only allowed in designated areas within Amistad NRA.

From other comments, there seems to be minimal/sporadic enforcement. You be the judge.

Really great place and now no hassle at all (although a bit expensive). At the gate all the prices are advertised and there is no negotiation. 3kpp to enter, 500 for a camera (even a cell phone, but you only need to pay for one), 10k to camp. No facilities, but a nice, clean, super quiet, grassy spot. We had the place to ourselves and were able to walk down to the falls. Super peaceful. Also heard the chimps calling very close to our campsite after dark, but never actually saw them.

Nice, clean campground with about 12 sites, most with shade trees. Sites have picnic tables, fire rings and cooking grills (mostly). Still $12 per night. Has trash receptacles and two vault toilets. Road in is approximately 7 miles and paved, although narrow (basically one lane) and twisty with lots of blind curves, so take it slow.

Asked 50 for only parking and bathroom. No pool, electricity or anything else.
Hostel rooms with 2 beds (2 people) with good parking up the road were 70 so we left and stayed there.

Space behind a hill, if you are driving to the "deepest" point you are hidden from the street. Kind of an old trail. You can drive in from both sides - east and west - on the south side of the road.
The more western trail is better to drive.

Incredible. Late March the penguins were still there, babies were shedding their baby feathers. Tons and tons of penguins. one of the top experiences in Patagonia. on a Friday and Saturday we only saw two other groups. we camped at the fishing spot.

*Very nice manager explained to me that the city wouldn't let them tie into the sewer system so they have to do a pump 'n haul disposal.

Then let me take a cat nap next to their trucks parked out back.

Not much more to say that hasn’t been said. It’s ridiculous here. The jets taking off all day can be a challenge for some. We found it interesting. There was a military drone flying around one of the days here. Again, we geeked out. The “lake” can have an odor, depending on the direction and speed of the wind (I assume) but I don’t know that I’ve seen sunsets better anywhere else? Yep, that’s a bold statement. But come find out for yourself.

The gate to get in is fairly snug. So “nice and easy”, and you should make it through. Lots of spots, most are level. And more spots past the second gate. We ventured that those spots are for the folks that want a little less action around (comings and goings/generators)

We saved this spot on our GPS because (as far as I know) you can’t save on this app?

The water spigots are not accessible if you have a trailer. You could fill jugs and bring those to your trailer. We passed.

A great place to stay if you want to go to Machu Pichu. Carlo helped us organizing the tickets and the motorbikes could stay here without a problem. Carlo was a traveler himself, went to SA the first time in 1999. Clean rooms and very comfy beds. Gladys made a good lunch box for going to Machu Pichu.
We paid $40 for a double room with breakfast. Would highly recommend it.

As described earlier. Some trash but not much (we picked up some). We spent three peaceful nights here. During the day some cars pulled in also but that didn’t disturb us.

Great spot if you want to relax on a amazing deserted beach for a couple days. Just what we needed, relax in comfortable rondavel with good food and drinks.

Prices for single room incl. breakfast 18.000 CFA. You can also choose the full pension option which is 38.000 CFA (if 1 person) or 63.000 CFA (if room is occupied by 2 persons. The full pension includes breakfast, lunch (with dessert) and dinner (with dessert)

The place is nicely set-up. Nice restaurant, cold drinks (and ice available). Buba is the son of the owner, speaks English and took care of us during the first day.

Highly recommended spot if you need to relax with some "luxury".

Small scenic overlook parking lot at the top of a small hill. Note, good for cars and vans only; it's classified as no RVs because there's no place to turn around a large rig or trailer. Great place to watch the sunrise. Spent a good, quiet night here after my other plans fell through late in the day. Good T-Mobile cell coverage.

Broken up road that goes from dirt to river rocks. Middle of dry season and had a tiny little water crossing, but I imagine it could get big in rainy season. Obviously nothing to even think about in dry season.

The ‘road’ is simply the middle of a dry river bed. There is a sign that says ‘danger: rising current’ right before arriving.
