Threaded hose fill at edge of entry parking lot on bottom of drinking station. Not a super pressured fill, so could take awhile. Noticed and turned on water to check but didn’t need water at the time.

Great little park to stretch legs and have lunch. 3.5mile loop suitable for hiking or trail running and a scenic look out. Built during the new deal. Free entry!

We arrived around 18:00 on a Saturday, it was really crowded and there was very loud music. A lot of people seemed drunk. We didn’t stay.

7 spots on the far side of the parking lot. Plenty of restaurants and a few gas stations in the area as well right off the highway.

Lovely hostel right near the historic center of town. About 10-15 minutes walk to central plaza. We asked about parking and were told we can park our RV in front of the hostel and pay the camping fee to use the facilites. Camping fees were 180pesos per day during the week and 250 during the weekend. It was a bit of a hassel getting our 9meter long RV to the hostel through the small streets and tight turns so plan your route carefully.

Affordable, clean alternative. 150 Kwacha per double bedroom. Self-contained. Friendly owner. A bicycle can be stored inside the room. We also checked out Mate guest house around the corner which is slightly cheaper but we preferred Mtekema by far.
A bit hard to find. It’s behind Mtekema restaurant (same owner); Orange building on the main road. Restaurant serves nice local food.

Only 5 rigs camping here on a Saturday night. Plenty of flat dirt space for overlanders, RV or trucks towing trailers. Same as other comments. No TP in the One banos for entire camping area. Restaurant has banos but only open when restaurant is open. The beach/playa is beautiful, walkable & low surf. Saw dolphins here today. Bugs at sunset. Paid $370 pesos for 1 night. Loud music next door at rental place but hey it’s Semana Santa week. For some loco reason they turn water off at night! No way to flush the one toilet in the morning & no access to shower. Not cool after paying $370. I do like the vibe & location. 2 RVs got stuck in sand & tractor towed them out.

there is also a pool and a big picnic area with lots of barbecues, so don't forget to bring your steak with you.

We were not able to dump when we got here because they have a gate that is closed I’m assuming during non business hours. I’m sure it still works just make sure you come here during business hours.

Development site abandoned for years. Walled on all 4 sides, slept here last night with no problems.
Currently used by locals as a dump site, many mattresses, trashed furniture, and a jetski in the road, so drive carefully at night.

Couldn't see any signs anywhere.

I was the only person here last night.

laid back place for pitching your tent. view is really nice. friendly staff. manager is pretty much into cycling 😎
just be aware that it takes time to go to city and back because the main gimmick of this location is, that it's up on the hill.

Very friendly people, we weren't planning to stay here so it was a bit of an unplanned one. Each pitch has it's own bathroom block, grass area and 2 electric points. It's not as beautiful as a farm but it works well, there is a garage a shop and a cafe.

There is a guesthouse at the ranger post of the national park where you can also camp with your car.

Bia National Park is a beautiful rainforest. There are many large jungle trees here. Here you can go into the national park with a ranger.

Great place to stay. Like everyone suggested friendly and quiet place. Quiet a few people stopped and welcomed us. It got quiet after 8:00 pm. Nice was very peaceful. Also, drove to the waterfall but preferred thus place Waterfall was just tricking water as it is dry season on Panama right now.
There are two groceries store which are readily accessible and fully stocked.
There are water faucets around park but there was no water. One gentleman told me faucet by municipal building should have water running. I did not check.

Next to a small archaeological site directly at the tourism police is a parking place, where you are welcome to stay for one night. Friendly police officer asked for Passports. Good view to Jordan valley.

A good mechanic, very friendly. We had a problem with the clutch pedal, and we couldn't drive anymore. He let us sleep in our motorhome in front of his house without worries. The next day, he had redone almost the same pedal, in metal, perfect! We paid 600bob, a little expensive but good work.
