I stopped in here to check on a room. They said they only had a matrimonial available for 160Bs.

Checking in to update information here - website said that before officially opening (at the end of may) this campground allows first-come first-serve camping starting early May. however it is completely closed at this time

Très bel endroit et près de tout. Il y a une pancarte qui mentionne l'interdiction de stationner durant la nuit, mais j'ai montré notre VR à un policier et il m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de problème si on est tranquille.

We stayed 1 night, road is bumpy and may be difficult, but we saw a full size RV and a minivan drive up, so it's doable if you have the nerve. Nice spot, little hill behind with a great view. There were a bunch of ammo shells, this is in a hunting area for sure but it was quiet all night and no issues at all.

Stayed here for one night in a regular car. It's a very pretty spot with very little through traffic, right next to a river. There's lots of private properties close by though, so best not to be too conspicuous, I reckon. No amenities and absolutely no cell reception (neither AT&T nor T-Mobile) for us.

Cool hot springs in the middle of nowhere. Rutted roads. We parked our RV close and walked to all three spots.

There is a road block with a sign at the entrance to this spot saying the area is closed due to high waters, scrolled back on “check-ins” here and it seems like an early spring trend for high water levels. Maybe wait till late June to try this spot. There is a dirt lot right across the street from this spot that was accessible today (May 15,2024), but there are no overnight camping signs posted there.

A convenient, quiet place to spend the night. It’s just past a newer home development, but only one car passed on the nearby road late in the evening.

We went to the nearby spot but there was a potato plantation with lots of workers so we we went up a little further and found this secluded spot away from the road and hidden by trees. We can still see the lake and have a nice view of the mountain landscape. Quiet and safe place to spend the night.

We stopped by today after seing it here in the app. It is a tiny village with surprising quantity of murals. There was almost nobody on the steets, we couldn't find a place to eat that was open. But murals are nice. Not sure if it is worth the detour, for us it was practically on route.

About 4 free campsites in this recreation area. Nice access to the river, but the campsites don’t have a great view of it. Very clean pit toilets. Lower Beaver Campground down the road definitely has better views of the San Miguel River.

A very nice and clean RV park just off the highway. Some road noise, but very little. Over a dozen pull throughs with 50 Amps, three dozen backend sites. No tent camping. Very clean bathrooms and hot showers. Host is very friendly. It’s not like a gravel parking lot, lots of trees and a picture pasture with cows when we were there. This has been one of the better RV parks we’ve stayed at.

Nice rest stop with clean bathrooms and water fountains. Pet exercise area and picnic tables. Signs at the entrance for cars & RV’s that said ‘no camping’ and ‘maximum stay 10 hrs.’ I got in at 9 pm and plan to be gone early in the morning. I can fit into one spot so I parked in the car sections that had tons of diagonal parking. There was also a specific rv section that is right next to car parking that is basically parallel parking. Garbage cans all over the place so PLEASE pick up after yourself. Near the highway so there is a bit of highway noise but I am a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me.
