BMW | $6 campground set in oak/pines. Requires drive up tight switchbacks through previous fire corridor but campground is rebuilt and shaded. Inside Mendocino Nat'l Forrest and rangers do stop by to verify self-payment fees paid. During the day there is off-road vehicle noise and lots of stop-bys to use the pit toilets. This is mostly winter; summer is quieter. |

sixwheelseast.com | Not the perfect spot, but if you get off the ferry in the dark and don't feel like offroading, it'll do. Some noise from local fishermen. Plenty of space. No facilities, but plenty of bushes. |

blynnlaw90 | Traveled from Texas... by far our favorite place, got there a little early in order to spend time on the beach eat and watch the sunset... boondocking at its finest, there were other rvs and car campers, all of whom were friendly and polite... had coffee, watch the sea otter pups play, and stayed till nearly 9am, very quiet restful and peaceful... honestly could have stayed longer!! |

frompeaktoshore | Rafael has always gone above and beyond to help me with car issues. He speaks English and is extremely thorough; I would recommend him to anyone. The pin is his motorcycle shop (he had to shut down his old shop because of covid) but he knows several mechanics around town for jobs involving cars, trucks, vans, etc. WhatsApp:. +52 967 108 1037 |

Lost in Biden's America | The parking lot is huge. Parked off to the side with some semis. They did some idling during the night, which made noise. But otherwise, it's a great spot. |

Alice | Stayed in site 19 which wasn't too far from the bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean with warm water at the basin. They do have showers but I didn't use them so can't report on this feature. Our site was hard to level (class B RV) but this could have been a user issue. Convenient locale to explore the area between Jenner and Petaluma. The Bodega

beebsandnugget | we ended up staying at the shady Grove campground when our plans for staying at the Flagler Reservoir didn't work out . we are so glad that we landed at the campground. it's super cute and had all that we needed, Wi-Fi, a place to park, showers, and water! they also have RV hookups. if we ever come through again we will totally stay here. it was only $21 for a basic site. I think a few dollars more for full RV hookups.it is right off i-70 so a super convenient location with a gas station down the street. The other thing we appreciated was the early check-in time at 8:00 a.m. and the late checkout time of 4:00 p.m. it gave us time to do what we needed to do the next day. |

Americas_Road_Runner__(facebook) | Not sure this spot is legal but we spend one night here and in the middle of the night the police did look around our vehicle. Nothing happens, they don’t wake us, after looking inside with their moi they gone away and that it !
