Great place. Long dirt road (smoothest dirt road I’ve been on). Hot springs were pretty cool. It is on private property so be respectful and pack out what you park in. Stayed overnight no issues.

Its an amazing spot, for wildcamping. There are toilets and a shower. Its a endless beach nearby Salina Cruz. The owner and his wife are very friendly...no payment asked for...only donations...

This is the correct location, about 500m south of the muelle, with a own road from the main road that passes through a private property (with gate). There is a sign at the main road. Very nice and well kept place with lots of place for vehicles under palm trees right on the beach. Long extension cord needed if you want electricity. Outdoor shower. Clean water toilet. Restaurant at the site. 20K/pp

not only is this perfectly described by the last visitor, but it was super easy in my low clearance 2WD! it took a bit to find a flat spot but there’s room for a couple of cars, a few tents, or a bigger rig. good AT&T service too. gorgeous!!! by far one of my favorite spots in a year of overlanding around the US

Stayed there for the night with no problems and a pretty nice breakfast. Entrance is easy to miss, trees can stand really close to each other and there are two rather big drops in the road so I'd recommend some ground clearance or a good approach angle. So definitely not big rig friendly but if you take the road a little further south, the forest seems to clear up and there's another similar spot which should work better.

The pools are nice and that's it really. Very busy, campsite overpriced.

It a bit out of the way, 20km south of Moshi, but it's all tarmac and a quite scenic drive through the plantation.

Its the clubhouse serving the plantation employees, very up market and facing onto a nine hole golf course.

We stayed for a coffee only, but the menu looked excellent and with a good selection of pizzas (from the pizza oven).

Very run down rooms that were not inviting at all (smelled of mold and very damp, too) and expensive compared to what you’d get. No water was coming from the chalet’s taps, either. We ended up camping at the parking lot and used the common ablutions (only cold water shower). Paid 100k/pp. They first asked for 150k, but that’d be way too much. Go only if you arrive very late from the Chanida border (like we did).

Parked by myself. No one around. Don’t know if it was ok or not to park there but I did, and no one, in the morning seemed to care. Slept nice, no knocks.

Small campsite with clean toilet and showers. Small washroom with fridge and basin. 2 power points. Pool was not usable as it was low season. We paid R100 per person per night. Phone the number on the wall or Cherlize on 0767276659. Great place to get cleaned up. Ask to see Oom Jacques Jack Museum if you are into engineering and history.

Simplesmente perfeito este local, ficamos na área das barracas mas existe local específico para motorhome e trailers. Banheiros em todos os lugares. Valor durante a semana $ 50,00 por pessoa.

Area has changed. Parking lot now exists but is now attached to something akin to a very fancy food and drink court. Very nice but like everything here pricey. On a Wednesday with minimal traffic they still played music until 3am. Not a huge issue depending on where you park but this is not a particular quite or private place to park. Good for a late arrival but I would have looked elsewhere if I were staying a second night. Probably the hostel.

Nice riverside campsites along the south fork of the Rio Grande. Fire pits, pit toilet, and picnic tables.

Absolutely amazing campsites with sweeping views of the Rio Grande River Gorge. Picnic tables, fire rings, and clean restroom onsite. Currently free but saw a sign saying they may begin charging in 2022. Also has an awesome hike starting right at the camp, going down to the Rio Grande River. No road access issues when we were there.

Great place to stay, quiet (you can hardly hear the trains passing), nobody bothering. Definitely recommend!
I give 5 stars (although the app does not allow and sets to 2.5 stars :( )

Pretty much as described by original contributor. Seems to attract folks who like to ride ATVs and dirt bikes. Some sites large enough to allow for double occupancy. Nice hillsides and evergreen forest (juniper and pinion). Most sites will have shade for part of the day.

After trying to get through the riverbed with my high clearance 2WD Vanagon and getting stuck soo close from the gulsh, I maxxtraxxed my way out of the riverbed and turned around to look for a plan B. Found this flat area right before the riverbed (when you come in) that has a few fire pits. Still great views, surrounded with those walls and green vegetation. Secluded and felt safe (it's past the gate mentioned in all the spots around here). 2-3 bars of 4G on Telcel.

Still $50pesos per person, however we would debate the water isn’t THAT clean as there are sooo many swallows nesting right above the water. Smells strong as you start on the stairs. It’s beautiful to look at though. You have to be really careful when you get to the bottom of the stairs as there was a thick layer of slippery algae to walk on (big concrete pad) before you could jump off into the deep water. A rope swing and small diving platform. cabanas for rent $350mx. Tent camping $70pperson. Not many flat options to pitch our tent so we camped at las Grutas

Smaller, wooded rest area with good vibe.
Overnighting never an issue. Unusually large separation of cars from big rigs. Clean bathrooms. Picnic area. Trail to scenic overlook.
