hokaadventures | Decent place. Full hookup is $44.50, electric only was under $30 but we upgraded because those stalls were super small and tight together (mostly made for truck campers with no slide outs I would say). Those were stalls 30-49. 50-57 offer more room, wider and deeper stalls. Don’t know about the rest. We have a short 5th wheel with no slide outs but would not have been able to properly put up our awning.

TCM | Beautiful park with free bathrooms, showers, picnic tables, electricity outlets, dish-washing station, and beautiful views. The bathrooms and showers were clean, however, the showers cannot be described as hot. The women's shower was mostly cold, with spurts of warm every now and then, and the men's alternated between cold and hot. Was still refreshing (and free)! |

intisolsticio | Nice clean warm showers on donation.
This campground has a really nice and accommodating staff, they allow people to use the showers on Donation (that goes towards NGO) until 4pm. We did NOT stay in the campground after they showed us around coz thought it wasn’t worth to pay for us, and after that we still used the showers on donation and they told us that, if we didn’t find a spot, we could come after closure, park, and figure it out in the morning. Great attitude and vibes! |

isabel.teramura | really lovely secluded campsite on state park land surrounded by fields and almost completely forested properties. The site closest to the road had a firepit and clear flat areas to pitch a tent. the surrounding area was filled with berry bushes and wild flowers! Only one car drove by between the afternoon to the next morning. there is a small shady hiking trail if you follow the treadmarks into the forest at the end of the meadow! we approached from the north end of burnt Hill road (on a subaru outback) and found the road super rocky and had to drive very slowly. I would recommend approaching from the south end of burnt hill road instead as it is gravelled and more maintained. |

oldies-auf-achse.de | Upon arrival at the NP gate, there was nobody in sight. We waited a few minutes and were passed by several cars and trucks which entered without stopping. So we followed and drove to Playa Roja. Nobody there either, Ranger station and facilities closed. We spent a quiet night and left the next day without any problems. Seems in winter everything is deserted and free. |

xl.will.lx | 23ft RV. Backed in so overhang was right up to fence. Arrived 7:30pm was empty, few scowls and suspicious inspections from the locals so went on an evening stroll down to the town and had a drink. Fair number of other campers scattered around on way down. Arrived back about 12am, no knocks, no issues. Car park started to fill about 8-9ish. Left it there all day while went to Monterey bay aquarium and then scooted in the evening. Good spot, nice deer |

catch-the-wind.com | Very nice campsite and ablutions. We squeezed our 11T teuck in no problem. We saw porcupine and cheetah in camp. I left a pair of Crocs out overnight and they were in bits by morning (hyena). We took an afternoon game drive with the lodge in the late afternoon to the NP which was excellent. Camping 190 pppn. |
