We were able to get water at the spigot in the front no problem. Was cool and tastes good. Came after hours and we're able to attach a hose. But needed some length to reach the car.

Small isolated parking very nice for one night or more. There is even a garbage can to throw away your waste. Don't be afraid to be near the highway, it's very quiet at night there is a few walkers and athletes in the morning on the bike path.

Behind and at the side of the restaurant of the filling station is a lot of space. At the restaurant we were told at 6 pm security is here. Very quiet at night on a Tuesday.

We could fill our fixed gas tank. Very easy. One of our adapters fit on the pump.

For the first time in 7 years we were controlled by the police: driver's license, vehicle registration, headlights and fire extinguishers were checked. But everything very friendly.

Water is free and dump is free. Cute little town. There is a city park right next to the dump and fill station. We ate lunch, took showers and did laundry and then filled and dumped a second time!

Fantastic place high up in the mountains. Difficult for big rigs but our Landy made it up the winding road just fine. Hut or tent camping, RTT users would have to park in a nearby field. Eccentric owner works nonstop to keep it clean.

Stayed overnight, pulled in around 8:30 lot was pretty empty. Grabbed a spot out of the way as usual and had a good night. It was pretty quiet all around and the bathrooms are nice and clean, staff friendly.

After sleeping in the Walmarts parking lot, came here to work for a few hours. Free wifi, fast and reliable. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for free wifi and some quiet place to work for the day.

Clean and you get your own cabana for privacy. I paid $9 since I'm not a Montrose resident. It's kind of pricy but whatever I needed a good shower lol.

Nice place. Tents sites not as private as I like. Shower building was great with nice pressure and lots of hot water. Would stay again. Far enough off highway couldn’t hear the noise

We stayed here one night after failing to find a place to stay in potosi. There’s a relatively flat spot off the side of the road to the left on the dirt road. It was cold, but relatively quiet with few cars passing at night. And no one bothered us.

Arrived at 6 pm on a Tuesday and there was around 4-5 spot left. Spots are small and not really leveled but it was nice enough for one night.

A typical rest area. Some semis had overflowed into the car side when I arrived at about 2am but there were still plenty of spots for my car. Car camped in my SUV along with a handful of others doing the same. Left at about 10:30am. I used the unisex bathroom and it was clean. There were also picnic tables, trash cans, a recycling bin and some vending machines, though I didn’t utilize those at all. Overall, as a woman traveling solo with her pup, I felt safe enough to come back the next night as I passed through again.

Near km marker 329 is a road going to off to the south. It crosses under the electrical towers and curves behind some trees where you come to a couple of small parking spots. Small vehicles only, no fire pits or other facilities. Nice open and quiet spot.

Quiet spot at the end of the road (road goes from pave to gravel, but well maintained). Very quiet, trails to roam and walk the dog. I think there is access to the water near this spot (locals fish and swim) but we did not explore the water this time.
Stanley is a great little town to hang out at. They have pretty much everything you need. Stop by Linda’s for a club sandwich and ice cream, down the hill across the street is the general store with attached NBLC, behind the store is the pharmacy (the street is easy to miss!!) and if you really enjoyed the community, drive past the pharmacy to the end of the road and to the right you will find Norma’s Boutique, a quaint little second hand shop used to support community members in need of help. Really great community.
And of course they have a post office and around the corner a gas bar with mini hardware store. The library is inside the school, everyone is pretty friendly and there is lots of green space of water to explore. The stars are amazing at night in this peaceful place, but bring your bug repellant!

Cheapest gas around by a couple cents and cheaper for cash and debit purchases, usually about 4 cents less than lowest price anywhere near. They sell standard propane tanks here, but not to refuel larger RV tanks. The gas station is on a corner and the lot is large enough for bigger rigs. There is another restaurant and ice cream bar up the road (Killarney) from here.

Beautiful, and as described! It is right where a small creek enters the river past a bridge, there is a pull off to the right just before the bridge, and this one that is just after the bridge. Both have plenty of room and a fire pit, and access to both the creek and the river.

There are quite a few pull offs after you pass the closed national Forest Campground.

Went there after going to media Luna, and the comments were no lie. The place is amazing. You will see beautiful clear water, fish, we even saw a turtle in the morning! Quiet night, felt safe. A bit windy, few mosquitoes, lots of ants, three dogs. When you arrive, there is a price indicated but no one to charge us. There are bathrooms but we did not try them. I advise you to come late in the afternoon and leave in the early afternoon because it becomes crowded around 3 pm. It really is like media Luna, but better. Unfortunately some people do not respect the place and throw garbage everywhere. We picked a few things from the water and around us and threw it into the huge bins. It really is a hard way to go there (a kind of sandy and bumpy road) but it is worth it.

Really great location, 30mn drive to the end of the road. Spot #5 is really nice. Cleanest pit toilet ever. Gorgeous being surrounded by the mountains. Blackberry bushes around (delicious in your breakfast pancakes!). Only downside is the mysterious generator running all day until 10pm.

À very large rest area, so large that the road is quite silent.
There is pit toilets.
Wifi come and go, uncertain.
Very quiet because the so beautiful 12 country side road is less used, even his beauty is like Zion park with fabulous rocks.
